Ok joking aside, I'm running a 2600k atm clocked @4.6 and before that a i7 920 @4. It does a make difference to playing this game from stock especially the minimum frames where it counts, OP's claim that it does sweet fa is his opinion and he is entitled to it but it doesn't make it so.

I would verify the game cache under properties>local files, it will reinstall any files that you need.

Excellent post by Terox, i would also advise you to use 'play with six' it makes finding servers and installing mods a lot easier..

How do i get SweetFX to work via the exe in the beta folder in Arma 2 CO? As it works when i don't use PWS.

Just stick with what you have tbh, nothing wrong with those DR150's. You only have 2 ears, don't buy into the marketing bollox with 5.1 this and 7.1 that. I use a Xonar STX and Sennheiser 518's and when using a sound mod you are set..

The driving physics 'drive' me up the wall, the vechs feel very lightweight. Edit: Oh yeah and the breathing when fatigued wants toning down a bit!
