No single mod has enhanced the game more than this one. Just the logical things you add make the immersion so perfect! One thing that would be needo would be you and the "Max_Cops and Robbers MOD" blending in a few coppers. I guess cops could be civis and their cars too. Thanks for making Arma3 a new experience in the Arma series with this unique MOD!- 5767 replies

As a very long time veteran of the series from the first BI release of Operation Flash Point I am loving Arma3. Still a bit of work to do around the edges but glad to be on the field instead of just checking release dates. Top marks Arma3 team. These guys put it out there for this sim. Including jail time. I am happy with what I got (great foundation) and prefer they just dial in a few things then add content if the community has not done so already. Imagine what this game will be like in 6-12 months with all of the community addons and tweaks. STELLAR!! Veterans know it is about the BIG picture not the little gripes that make this so monumental. -

LOVE THIS ADDON!!! Tried it for the first time last night. Doing a covert night recon of a house - insert from the beach we swam up and had to avoid civi traffic when crossing the road. The realism level jump was huge. All games should have civis (that actually interact with the environment). I have always wonder why they are never modeled properly....until now. Also loved the animals and seeing fish. THANKS! Mission: Surveillance and reconnaissance operations to report on enemy activity or to provide a better understanding of the operational situation. Tracking of enemy units, monitoring military and civilian activity, and gathering information about beach and water conditions prior to a beach landing. -
Sub switch to gunnar but no switch back to driver

While in the sub if I am driving and then switch to gunner to check the scope I can not switch back to driver. (I have one squady) I am on Dev build. -
I guess I should point out I am on the Dev. build. Reading the bug reports seems the arty was very accurate originally (like maybe too accurate) and they "fixed" that. I will test again maybe something changed..? I did test with wind and gust turned off a couple of days ago and that helped but my arty was still no where near the area (but at least I could hear a couple of rounds) and actually took out a small village near by. My original post was from using the modules to call fire support. But I will test firing the MLRS as you describe tonight.

I tested the MLRS, and all other forms of arty. Including the modules. Go to a point far enough away form the launchers and call strikes. I pick my target area on the map and get the correct marker indication but no joy. Not only are the impacts not even close they are so far off in the distance I can not even see them. Poor civis in a 20 mile radius are in danger. Works the same if I launch from the arty pieces myself and use the UAV to watch the targeted area. The arty is way way off.

I have to say WOW. Really good work Arma 3 team!! I have played this since the very first BIS Operation Flashpoint CWC. Back when the guys were hunched over like an ape. Cool concept and really am blown away by how great a job you guys did! Enjoying the dev build immensely.

It was pretty clear buddy. I just was not getting it at first. Maybe just do complete examples like Goblin did. For some reason the first time I tried it (before Goblins example) it did not work. So I was trying markers and everything else with the c1 name in it... BTW - Radios use to work on the tables but since the latest Beta update they don't. I had a lot of rooms built with them working fine but now had to remove them. Must be hard for addon makers when they keep changing things..... not long to go before the release.... :)

The latest Arma patch cleared up the error message for me! Hip hip hurray!! Great mod! I have been able to figure out how to get the cameras to work but unable to figure out the UAV. PDF says: For example: this [30,30,100] will create a fake UAV flying 30 meters away from its target with 100 meters altitude.How do I select a target? Do I attach this to a screen or the UAV box Toughbook? this setvariable["arp_sc_mode", ["4split_on", [[c1,0,[20,20,80]]],"256"], true]; And what do I name "c1"? I did read every page of this forum before asking. Just noobing around sorry.. Are there any prebuilt templates? Thanks for the work!

OMG If you didn't/don't play ARMA2 with the Ace2 mod you REALLY are missing out. Also add some AI mods if you play single player and you will see how fun mods can be. No mods on IF is like buying candy and eating it with the wrapper on, you will never know how sweet it could be. -

1st This game is a lot of fun. I really enjoy it and looked forward to it. Thanks developers! I hoe the future is as bright as ARMA with mission builder, community addons and mods....not sure if that is possible. 2nd Yeah I have three monitors also and the right and left monitor losing terrain and missing walls can be confusing. If it matter I use a 7950 w/ eyefinity. :( 3rd TrackIR support might be cool.:confused: 4th This has to be the hardest forum I have ever joined. Next they will want a blood sample or my first born. I have built and customized many forums and there is no need for "random" questions to require the need to research on the internet to answer. Marketing, really?........just a waste of my time. :mad:
