Teraku

I have no mods or addons installed. I bought the game from Steam, and then installed ARMA 2, Operation Arrowhead, British Armed Forces and Private Military Company. Unless the Steam version somehow is outdated, I'm running the latest version. Also, I'm running ARMA 2, none of the expansions.

I can't get past MOUT training! I start the first training mission, choose to drive to Captain Shaftoe right away, I talk to him, and start MOUT training. But when I drive to the insurgent guy I'm supposed to meet, he immediately kills me! I also can't fight back, because I have no ammo for my M16. I've tried refilling ammo at Captain Shaftoe, but I couldn't. If I get close enough to the guy, the primary action is greeting him. But he kills me before I can do that. I've tried driving around the town, driving through the town, going there on foot, but no success. So how am I supposed to get past this?
