Hi, My brother wants to get armaII, but his computer isn't so great. He would get the demo, but our house has a bandwidth cap so I was wondering if first anyone could tell me exactly how badly it would run. His specs: AMD athlon 64x2 (either 3800+ or 3600+) at about 2ghz 2gb RAM Nvidia gts 620 1gb winxp 32-bit Cheers, ChiefNinja

Randomly spawning at markers doesn't seem to work.

I placed a civilian, gave him a sniper rifle, and grouped him with several different markers. Rather than spawning at one of them when I started the mission, he almost always (like 9/10 times) spawns in his original position on the map. Very occasionally he will spawn at one of the markers. How do I make him spawn randomly, at only one of the markers? -

Cheers F2K, but that wasn't quite what I was looking for. Basically, I have a squad scattered around Chernarus, and I want the player to go and meet up with all of them one by one. I would like the final guy's location to be randomised (which works) and have a join and lead waypoint placed over him (not visible on the map, but visible as one of those orange arrows on the HUD). How would I go about making the waypoint appear after other waypoints have been completed, making it invisible on the map, and adding a description to it? Thanks for all your help. -

Okay, I can now place a marker on top of the unit, and the unit spawns randomly, as it should, but is there a way to 'lock' a waypoint to a unit? -

Cheer F2k, that works. I have a couple more questions though- I have a join and lead waypoint attached to the unit, but it doesn't seem to update and move to the unit's new position- it stays over it's original position. This can make finding my squadmate quite hard- is there a way to force update the waypoint to always hover over the unit? Also, civilians always seem to shoot me when I give them guns (when I play as BLUFOR) is there any way to stop them doing this? -

Well, I pasted in the code- replacing "cm#" with spawn1, spawn2 etc, but it doesn't seem to have had an effect. I am a n00b at scripting though, so I may have done something wrong I suppose. I'm using the 2d editor, not the 3d one, if it helps.
