Are you a casual ArmA player who wants the thrill of TvT battle without the hassle of being a clan-member or the idiocy of public servers? Are you a clan/clan-member who wants to participate in a large-scale event without worrying about numbers and hosting? Are you an armchair commander who wants to control *real* people without the hassle of informing their families of their brutal and hilarious death? Then the Duala Campaign wants you! From sometime this or next week a series of events will be taking place telling the story of the 1st Duala War from both perspectives, with a branching storyline and space for every style of player. The first battle needs at least 90 players, with infantry, air, armour, and AI command spaces available. Thanks for the interest! It's taking a bit longer than I hoped to get the players together so it may begin sometime next week, instead of this Friday. I ran something similar at a friend's LAN party and it was a hit so I slightly overestimated the enthusiasm of the community. I'm using Reddit for organising because it's simpler than a forum and is integrated into a site most people already use. If you've never heard of it then it's really nothing to worry about- you can make an account in seconds. The response from the hosting community has been great- we have offers of TS servers and game servers coming out of our ears. All we need now are participants!
