  3. Hello, everyone. This is the first time I have ever played the Arma 2 game (thanks to DayZ). I would like to report that I am having horrible textures. I get better graphics in Minecraft. System Specs: ATI Radeon 7970 (3GB) AMD FX-series 8-core processor 16GB RAM 1050p Display So as you see, my specs are not low. I can run even The Witcher 2 maxed out with ubersampling on, or Crysis 1 and 2... it's just this game... Here are the pictures. Anyone have the solution to this? http://imgur.com/h7AmL,uvmND,UceMx,hsVPf,PZfnn,UgXDq,vzN6w,E0Y6F,khShw,W85ox,6wDMa,dfIFa,G7Q73 The above pictures have my graphics usage during the time I captured the pictures, the pictures of the textures, and the menus. For some reason, I do not have the "default" or "very high" video memory and texture options. I used to run off of a hard drive, and I am using an SSD now- no difference. If you notice in the above album I posted, the "You Are Dead" sign flickers epileptically, and in-game, the mouse wheel menu and helicopter status bar also flicker at extremely high strobe-like frequencies. I have no clue why this is happening. My config: (is there something wrong with the VRAM? Remember, I have 3GB in my card! http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7970/Pages/radeon-7970.aspx#3 (click "specifications") I have the latest drivers. language="English"; adapter=-1; 3D_Performance=100000; Resolution_Bpp=32; Windowed=0; Resolution_W=1680; Resolution_H=1050; refresh=60; winX=16; winY=32; winW=800; winH=600; winDefW=800; winDefH=600; Render_W=1680; Render_H=1050; FSAA=3; postFX=5; GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=2; HDRPrecision=32; lastDeviceId=""; localVRAM=2147483647; nonlocalVRAM=1108189184; vsync=1; AToC=0; FXAA=0; PPAA=0; PPAA_Level=0; sceneComplexity=180000; ---------- Post added at 11:17 ---------- Previous post was at 10:10 ---------- Also, whenever I go look at a flare at night or the sun in the day, my screen goes into another epileptic strobe effect (multiple times per second).
