I bought this game a few days ago and was playing DayZ with the latest beta using the ARMA2 launcher found at "armaholic.com" I was in a game and hit abort, went back to the multiplayer stup screen where it lists all the players in the server and then clicked the "Server Control" button down the bottom left. I'd never seen if before and wanted to check out what was in that menu. Anyway a message came up and said somthing about being kicked from the game. And now whenever I try to go back in to any server it says "you were kicked from the game" I exited the game and thought if I restart the game it might fix it. But when I tried to load the game through the launcher mentioned above a message came up saying "cannot open D:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\Addons\anims_e.pbo" thats when I realised steam was in the middle of downloading updates to the files (changing files i guess as well). I assume that this was happening while I was in game as well because I didn't launch it through steam, and steam didn't know I had it open so it might have changed files while I was in game. Causing a ban i guess.. Anyone know the correct process to resolve this issue? Help would be much appreciated. I feel like buying it was a huge waste if I get banned for steam updating it after only having it 3 days.
