I haven't assumed anything. I attempted to open up a discussion. Apparently, however, no one here cares to actually talk but would rather argue and attempt to insult. Alright then.

Maybe? Maybe? Maybe? Rocket himself has said his first choice for a studio to develop with is BI. BI has been very supportive of DayZ, as they are with all mods for their games. I am concerned BI may be about to let a golden opportunity slip through their hands. DayZ, despite the hype, is not just some zombie apocolypse game. It is, at it's heart, a survival simulation. BI are the masters of the military sim. Why not put their talent and manpower behind the ultimate survival sim as well and blow this thing out of the water?

I imagine I will get a lot of fire for posting this on these forums but I am honestly confused and hope that a BIS employee might shed some light for me. Why the heck isn't BIS jumping at the chance to make DayZ the game? The number of sales from ArmA 2 in the last 3.5 months... The continuing increasing popularity of the mod... The incredibly obvious demand and support for DayZ as a standalone game... I just don't get it! What's holding BI back from making this game?

Still no solution to this. Reinstalls do nothing. Errors persist.

I bought the Sprocket digital download of ArmA2 Combined Operations. I used the download links provided in the confirmation e-mail to download ArmA 2 and ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead. After the downloads finished, I installed ArmA 2 and loaded the game. Everything worked fine. Then I installed the 3 update patches for ArmA 2, ran the game. Everything worked fine. Then I installed ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead and loaded the game. Everything ran fine. Then I downloaded and installed the most recent beta patch for Operation Arrowhead (v .94444). I loaded the game from the Launch Beta exe provided with the beta patch. I receive the following 2 errors: ArmA 2 error PICTURE ca\ui\data\logo_arma2ep1_ca.paa not found No entry 'bin\config.bin/RscInGameUI/RscUnitInfoSoldier/Background.type' I completely uninstalled and ran CC cleaner twice. I have now fully installed the game(s) 3 times. On the latest install, I downloaded and am using the most recent beta patch build (.94700 as of this posting) and I still get the above 2 errors. The errors only start after installing the Beta Patch. I need help trying to sort out the problem, please.

Still getting the error: Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Missions_BAF_2' I can join servers and play but I still get this error when loading and have no idea what problems it might be causing.

I added the DayZ mod via the instructions (created @DayZ folder inside the ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead folder) and then the Addons folder inside the @DayZ folder. Then put the DayZ mod files inside the Addons folder. (Operation Arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons\files) I ran Six Launcher. It updated and I launched the game. I did not receive the above errors. I received the below error: Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Missions_BAF_2' I need help trying to sort out the problem, please.
