I've looked quite a bit for a solution to my problem with the manual installation. I get the "Iron Front 3 Patch for Arma is not installed on your computer or installation is corrupted" error for the patch. Now, I have my Steam folder on a secondary HDD on my computer. Using the shortcut method doesn't work still because the wiki is not clear on what the "-incurrentfolder" parameter is. Using "-incurrentfolder" after the target link doesn't work for me, as I get an error message. To be blunt I have no idea what that parameter is supposed to go or how it even works. The way I'm doing it is >extract the patch exe to the main Arma 3 folder >create a shortcut I assume patching will fix all the weird interface issues I get in the main menu. EDIT I figured out what I did wrong. Supposed to add a space between the file location in "..." and the parameter. Whoops! :butbut: Hate when I have moments like this....

Alright, thanks! There's now something in it's place that says "bCombat 0.17 is now running", I think I'll just have to live with that(or backdate to 0.16?)

Oh did I ever facepalm myself. / on the number pad was the right one!

As said in the title, I cannot look down into the rifle scope, only above it. This appears to be something a CQC mode for some scope equipped rifles. I've looked at every possible key command and nothing has worked. My question is-if you can, how the heck do you change to scope view? For reference, I have ACE. I have screenshots of three rifles that do this. Thanks in advance for any help. M107 L85A2 L86A2

I have an Nvidia card, and a restart fixed the lag, thanks. I knew it wasn't my vents because I keep them clean anyway.

I've been having the same problem with my laptop since today. CO will start up fine and the fps will be great, but then the screen flashes black for a split second and it will lag severely for several seconds, stops, and repeats several seconds later and does over and over. My rig is only two weeks old and CO has run without a hitch until now.
