I'm a guy, you'll have to ask me if you want to know more than that!
  1. Hello! So I've checked here and there but I can't find if anyone else is having this problem. The game launches and I can hear the music, even the pointer changes but I can't see the game. I just see the desktop. I can manage to get it to work in windowed more or less but for some reason full screen doesn't work, I just can't see the game at all. I'm unsure what the cause of it is, I'm running on Windows 7 x64, Nvidia GTS 450, 4gb Ram. I start it in admin mode and all that through Steam but I still can't get it to work. I have had an issue where my screen seems to have locked itself in 30hz refresh rate and another game (Star Wars the Old Republic) had issues starting because of it. I'm unsure if Arma 2 has the same problem? Appreciate the help! ---------- Post added at 14:10 ---------- Previous post was at 13:40 ---------- Solved it, it's my HDMI cable. Apparently it does have to do with the refresh rate, the TV locks it to 30hz but the default is 60hz. I have to disable the HDMI output if I want to play, slightly annoying but it works at least.
