It is doing the same thing both with and without the mod

Intel® Core™ i7 NVIDIA GT 650M GPU 4GB of RAM The only thing that I have installed other than Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operations Arrowhead is the DayZ mod.

when using the Overlay with Arma2, as soon as I load into the game the screen turns glaring white. I can see the menu and all, but the background, which is a scene rendered with the game engine is white. When loading into a server, the same happens. I can still move around, because I can see several player markers when they are activated and even the chat text. But the entire landscape turns white. If I move the view up and look into the sun, it gets even more glaring. If you have any idea how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
