Yes I'm on windows 7, and as you can probably tell, I'm not a big computer guy, that's why I love these sort of forumns, as for UAC, I'm not sure, mostly because I have no idea what that means ---------- Post added at 14:19 ---------- Previous post was at 14:17 ---------- When i checked my cache for Arma II, it hung at 100%, then closed and now my game is at 40% reinstalling itself, not sure if it was supposed to do that...I'm checking Op Arrowhead now as well ---------- Post added at 14:22 ---------- Previous post was at 14:19 ---------- It did the same thing with Op Arrow as it did with just the base game, well see in an hour ish when they are both fully installed to see if that did anything ---------- Post added at 14:39 ---------- Previous post was at 14:22 ---------- Arma II works!!, BUT Op arrow still has the error: "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow'." and now after that it tried to open game, then i get Error compiling pixel shader PSSpecularAlph:0

I only have one login and a guest login, I'm on my admin login when I'm doing all of this

I just bought Arma II Combined Operations on steam and installed them. When I go to run Arma II to do pre play installs, like the anti-cheat thing, i get the error: " Data file too short 'addons\anims.pbo'. Expected 650211804 B, got 381419520 B." When I go to run Arma II Op Arrowhead I get two errors, the first: "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgInGameUI/MPTable.shadow'." The second is very similar to the error i got in just Arma II. I tried contacting steam and Arma's troubleshooting email, with no answer. I've been trying for hours to fix this so anything anyone can do will be GREATLY appreciated. Please help!
