  1. Hi Nicholas, Thanks for the quick response. It seemed ArmA was the only game to CTD but then I finally ran in to a crash on League of Legends so I figured the problem was closer to home and it turns out it was my hardware configuration. The Corsair XMS3 1600MHz memory is also a new addition to my rig, however my mainboard can't run games off 1600's if they're not overclocked properly. Well, I had no idea so I just changed the FSB ratio to 1:4 and I haven't had an issue thus far! My board also has overclock switches and they were both active (crazy). So they're back to normal also. Sorry about the hassle though I'm glad to see the response all the same! So it can be closed now if the mods wish. :) Cheers,
  2. Hello all, Unfortunately I appear as a result of being plagued by the ever illusive CTD. When I first bought ArmA II & OA I was using an Nvidia Geforce 9500GT and while choppy, it coped. I've recently replaced that 9500GT with a Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 and it's been performing great, at least until I booted up ArmA. I can get in to a game and within a matter of a few minutes... A CTD, and I've also had the odd blue screen. PC Specs: Mobo: MSI G45-870 CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 620 Memory: (2x2GB) 4GB Corsair XMS3 GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 HD: 500GB Seagate (unsure of specifics) OS: Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) I've tried: Updating BIOS Reinstalling Drivers Run as Administrator/Compatibility Mode Reinstalled ArmA OA Altering Graphics Settings Altering CCC settings (Application only settings) Using CMOS default settings (no overclocks) If more information is required, extract away! I would really like the chance to put this GPU to use so I can really get back in to ArmA, even if it means going over what I've done, any help is greatly appreciated! :) Thanks for reading over my post. -Regards EDIT I found topic about particular errors in the 'ArmA2OA.RPT' file. One error was "Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION" and judging by what some others have said it's an issue with the last patch? Just trying to find out more. :)
