    Civilian Hold

    Thanks for the reply, and thats what im now working at :) Basicaly im using a module to have them friends with opfor, then a trigger will trun them enemy to opfor and opfor will open fire, like a firing squad type thing.
  2. Sorry for my last posts title for not being descriptive enough, if I forced you guys to read it in anyway i do apologise it was not my intention. Im wondering whats going on. I place a civilian in Agina Marina, give him a "HOLD" waypoint, hit preview with me as OPFOR stood next to him and he runs away. No matter what i do he will not stay on his waypoint. I also had the civi set to careless. After some testing it seems they don't like staying still in towns. I'm confused.......

  5. I added it in the units init this addWeapon "arifle_MX_F"; the weapon went straight too weapon slot, now i have suppressor in his inventory, i need too attach it.
  6. Hi wonder if someone could help me please. Ive managed too add various items to AI inventory, and managed to get the AI to equip NV goggles. Now I added a suppressor to the AI inventory, i need to know how to attach the suppressor to the weapon for starting loadout in my mission. thanks for reading.... Bra1n

    I just wanna say thanks for this carrier mod, the work you modders put into this game is outstanding. Ive had hours of fun learning landing meatballs F/A-18 hornet on the carrier. Finally got it masterd lol after about 200 atempts, so again thnx very much to all modders.
  8. I agree the Mr GRS. The AI is terrible (but i love the game). In my german campaign i was doing a mission where i was trying to get close to the enemy before opening fire. I had my units on hold fire order, but yet they still opened fire when they felt like it. Another example is, my team was under fire by small arms, i wanted to get us into a more defensive positon so was clickinng move order, but my AI just stood there shooting. I tried to get to the position myself and click return to formatioin, but the AI still stood there shooting. Maybe its a feature maybe its a bug lol....who knows
  9. Hey guys and gals 1st post on forums but i played operation flashpoint and all official addons and arma 1 and 2 with all addons, so i love these games lol. This is my 1st ever mission i made and am very thankfull to all the old and new modders and mission creaters out there. You guys have my total respect for making these games last years. This mission you play as russian defending an airbase, at the castle you make your stand. You have mortars, machine guns and 76mm to use. Set up your defence then radio Alpha when you are in positon. The location and history have no bearing on this mission, i just made it for my bro and I, and thought i would share it with you guys. -Features- -Into- no -Cut scenes- no -Fancy effects- no -Brefing- yes -Squad respawn- yes -First aid- yes -Tips- -Load AI men into trucks before hitching 76mm because the men get trapped sometimes lol (not my fault) -When using 76mm at castle and you want AI to use them, don't have the guns too close to castle wall, or AI won't mount them (not my fault) -Dont forget to radio ALPHA when you are ready, or you will have a long wait :P (will be your fault) :P -Grab some rifles and ammo from crates at airbase, load them into trucks -There is mortar ammo crates at the castle. Plant the mortars next to these crates for much ammo. -Have fun Thanks again to all modders, mission creators and bohemia......
