  1. Hi, first off I would like to thank you for the great mod, its very immersive and have become a must have mode for me. I would like to ask if somebody recently ran into this problem : sometimes when unit get repeatedly shot and falls to the ground,it ll stand up but with AI disabled, it just stands there, doesnt turn, doesnt respond to orders and doesnt shoot. Among other things I run the game with ASR AI (that should be only mod that could possibly conflict, cause other than that i have couple of units, texture and weapon mods. I will try to play-test it some more when I have time and will report back.

    Hi, i dont know if its just problem on my side, but recently i ve noticed weird thing happening with asr ai. When i spawn myself as squad leader and divide my team to 2 small squads, i notice that they miserably fail to follow my orders. When i send each team to opposite direction they just cant decide which team they belong to, sometimes returning to formation without me ordering it. And they very often spam "standing by " comment, without any commands issued. I have the latest version, tried with and without the dev branch and tried with and without any mods, problem seems to be exclusive to asr ai. Anybody else with similar problem?

  5. Hi, how do I turn off debugging features in latest A3 script version? (smoke, colored balls). I looked through readme and the script itself but due to lack of knowledge didnt figure it out. Thanks

    Yeah, its all true. But do not shy away from arma 3 because of it. You can slap in "asr AI" enchancment along with TPWCAS and it will be greatly improved. AI will react better in CQC, will share info with nearby AI, will pop smoke and list goes on. Check out those mods and you wont be dissapointed in Arma 3 AI in my opinion :)

    Thanks, didnt have a clue that these things impact performance. For the most part im using vanilla units, but recently i ve been using SEALS and such, so i wondered if they are taking full advantage of ASR AI (mainly the skill scalling). I wont be reducing units skill much,as they get owned too much already :D. Of course SF can take me out pretty nice, but i usually dont use em, cause regulars are mostly having hard times surviving hehe.

    My last post was a bit messy sorry about that. Even though im bit disapointed with my computer's performance that wasnt supposed to be the issue in my post :D, ASR ai has nothing to do with it. I just wanted to know what's happening with the AI (vanilla/ASR or both) when you have low fps in a mission. I read about it couple of times, but never any specifics, so i was curios if some of you know a bit more about that. ň Of course in some missions my FPS never drops under 30 FPS and in some i might hit 18 FPS.     Robalo, i ve heard this many times now, but how doest it work? If u have low FPS, AI will get dumb, disable some features? Because when i get into heavy combat my fps may fall down to 20 FPS in bigger cities. That's with amd phenom X4 clocked to 3.9 Ghz, which is well above BIS recommended settings. Still changing graphics settings will give me only 3-5 fps gain between very low and high/very high, so it shouldnt be GPU problem at all. One more question. When i play, im often using custom units from mods, are they fully utilizing ASR features "out of the box", or i need to change some settings in config file. Thanks for patience regarding my questions :)

    And so i've tried it again today after cleaning the mod completely along with userconfig, re-downloaded and all is running great. I bet it had to be something with the userconfig. Thanks

    Thanks for tips, im using ACE already though, so im not sure if its a good idea to add SLX Co. I might try it with SLX but without Ace and see what i like better:cool:

    Alright, thx for reply. Did u run it with beta patch, right? It's likely that the problem is on my end then. Basically what i noticed is that with beta patch AI was staying more out of cover and had diffrent shooting pattern, werent even shooting under barel guns and they were staying behind. (1 or 2 would be ignorant to regroup order in almost every mission, it was basically matter of time) Also insurgents were kicking ass of my AI marines :) which wouldnt happen before in clean 1.60:j:

    Hey! Thanks for the great mod, its definitely the best AI mod out there:). I tried running it with latest beta patch and AI seemed a lot worse than in 1.60, i based this conclusion on few replays of my small test mission. Beta had no significant AI changes listed, so i thought it should be alright. Pls anybody else have noticed a problem with running this AI mod with a beta patch? Im having hard time to getting back to 1.60, cause FXAA with sharp filter makes the game look so superior :rolleyes: . Thanks
