    Also if people are interested, These assets are being tested and used over at FrontLine (PVP modification for A3 using the AAW Framework). They do a mix of current day and WW2 public events and anyone a fan of Team work orientated PVP would really like what the guys have done over there. Also a link to there Discord. So head over, would be a good way to help with feedback for my project

    I can say that I'am in contact with other WW2 mod groups. I'll say here what I've said everywhere else. I was previously working on another mod that ended up falling apart because alot of the content got destroyed in a PC hick-up. So with no motivation to go back and fix or redo, I stopped doing any modding work. after about a month I thought id model something to get the creative juices flowing again and a few months later I had more than just a grease gun lol. So while at the moment I have no intention on merging my work with anything else I cant say that will be the case latter down the line. For now I'am just having fun creating this content.

  5. Hey guys, long time. I come bearing some good and bad news. So towards the beginning of the year I had a PC poop and alot of the work going into this mod was destroyed . I know, pretty shit right. So in turn I've had to stop working on this mod with having no motivation to make alot of the content again. In saying that though the stuff I could save has been handed over to the CUP team so its in there hands now as what to do with it. But after all of that I have been working on another project and details of that will be revealed really soon, like really soon.

    I've always just added the weapon as an extracted proxie into your arma rig to line it up with the weapon bone and parent it and then move the weapon bone as explained in your tutorial. so what your saying is I need to move the entire rig to fit around the weapon instead? I've not had issues in the past. I dont know why its happening now.

    Hi all, first off I'd like to say thanks a heap Macser for the awesome rig. its saved alot of time. I've got a bit of a frustrating problem with how my hand-anim looks in blender to how it looks ingame I've made sure to follow your tutorials to the letter and for some reason when the RTM is used ingame its shifted the weapon bone down and towards the unit. for hand anims should I be ticking static pose when I export? Its got me stumped

For those that dont know me, I despise snipers, absolutely cannot stand them (more the player not the rifle) but to make this mod complete I needed an anti material rifle that was in the same league as the Lynx or the 107. I think this weapon is unique and I surprisingly (For a sniper) had alot of fun making it. Steyr HS50 BMG

  15. The reason I have made the weapons this way is to try and stick to how vanilla does stuff. For example the MX rifle has many variants (MX, MXC, MXM, MX lsw?) So I cant see there being any changeable's etc because of the configurations varies between etc version. It may reappear as a alt marksman but for now I'am focused on the hk33 being my base weapon.
  16. Your pretty onto it. because this is the replacement. this is a good weapon platform because its sits in the 30rnd 556 category and also allows for multi variations from AR to marksman (as you will see in the parts in the pic)

So, another development that has come about after talking to a few people and that is the G3 makes it hard to balance a faction. its a 20 rnd beefcake and some of the tvt community (and myself of coarse) decided it would be a bad Idea balance wise. So I'am sorry to say that the G3A3 wont be making an appearance (most likely) In MEC mod...........................

  20. for now its just going to be the g3. I plan on having many different versions and accessories for it making it a standard/specops depending on the situation.
  21. My whole approach to this project was to have a conventional force for opfor in the middle-eastern setting that people would like to play as and not just use as AI. It seems to be abit of a missing piece in the Arma verse to have good opfor forces and there are very few complete opfor factions in ArmA modding (bar RHS of coarse). It is also extremely easy to change a factions side these days externally with scripts. So I can make a promise that these guys will be Opfor only and I have no plans to make them multi side
  22. These guys will be opfor. And yes, I have seen these uniforms before and an entirely new uniform for my units is in the pipeline I'am just working on getting better at my sculpting
