I'm a fairly experienced server admin hosting multiple servers from my rack at home, I've been looking into cloud computing and have only recently signed up to the Windows Azure platform free trial. When attempting to run an ARMA 3 server from a virtual machine (Windows Server 2012) using the Windows Azure platform I see the server within the lobby but when attempting to connect I get an error "Connecting Failed". Checking the logs on the console reveals no connection activity from the outside world.
I'm absolutely certain it's going to be a Firewall related problem on the Azure side and may need to get in touch with their support, but I'd like to know if anyone else out there is or has been using the Windows Azure platform, if they've experienced the same problem and how they went about resolving it.
