    Squad Selection screen freeze

Well, in that time, i either get kicked or get a session lost warning. Anyone with a fix would be nice :)
  2. Hey, in every server i join, whatever playercount, whatever mission, my screen freezes a few seconds after joining a server, and always when im gonna choose my squad. it freezes till i either get kicked, or session is lost. I have no idea what the problem here is, and i know its not my spec, since my laptop can run arma flawlessly. Anyone else has this problem, or is it just me ? EDIT: Using DEV-build Specs: Geforce 610 M 2 GB i7 2670QM 2.4 Ghz 4 GB DDR3 RAM 1333mhz (unknown product, a name i havent heard of ever, gonna buy 16 gb)

Ok, this is getting ridiculous :\

Yeah thanks :) Im just gonna say im no newcomer to helo's, infact i got over 3000 hours of helicopter flying behind me, but then again, i know the cyclic, i know how it is supposed to handle, and yes i know one have to put the trim in good use, but when i am experiencing right now just dosent feel like it should do. But im most probable gonna buy the game anyways, because flying helo's is the best thing in the world ( Simulated ofc ;) )

Ok, is there a patch for the DEMO coming out ?
  5. Ok, ive downloaded the demo, i was utterly excited to get my hands on this game, but, how dissapointed i became, not because of the game itself, but the damn trim, that has to be adjusted every time. Ok, even in editor mode, when i choose " In flight ", the trim is still not adjusted even tho i started inflight. Bohemia Interactive, Please, i beg of you, do something about the heavy right dragging. Ofc i can adjust the trim, but even then its extremly difficult to handle the helo. And i seriously doubt IRL pilots struggle that much with the controls. As i said in the title, this IS getting ridiculus, because every time i start a new game, i nearly dont have the time to adjust the trim before i crash and burn. Bohemia, you did give your best of making a realistic Helicopter game, but with a slight abit of fail in it, no offence, but it is the truth. If this continues in the full version of the game, i doubt im gonna buy it :\ Sincerly Roger Lennes
  6. Quote: hon0 Hmm.. I think it's a normal helicopter behavior.. Does it appears when you gain speed? ___________________________________________________________________________| No no no, the gravitypoint of each and every helicopter is directly below the main rotorblades, and should not exessivly go to the right or left. If you are in a steady hover, you may take your hand off the cyclic just a tad, to see if its perfectly centered. Quote: freqeuntvirtualflyer Hello first time poster long time...... listener? Any way the problem stems form when you turn off the auto trim for some reason the trim settings are skewed all the way to the right by default and so in order to get flying straight again press "right CTRL + NUM 4" for cyclic trim right and opposite for when she's pulling left, this is in the controls in the menu. The question is when you in a real helicopter is trim set according to the last position of the cyclic or applied to the control surfaces independently as when i do select a trim position the stick is centered but shes turning. In real heli's, trim is on the stick and applied by some sort of magnet setup, so in flight when i enable manual trim it should default to my cyclic position and not like an planes trim be set to what ever. Either way there should be a patch because the default position is center. Oh and why no warning lights or warning sounds when your breaking the helicopter by reckless flying (which i enjoy) in expert mode. BEst helisim I have ever played. ______________________________________________________________________________| Isnt there a trim reset button ? Anywho thanks for your reply, it was really great :)
