  1. if you dont want to spend more many, then you should chose the R7 260x the 260x is a view percent faster than the 7790 at the same price like the 7700 (acc. to my local price lists) @forteh theoratically is NV slightly bether because of PhysX, but in the price range it will not be a big deal. (His processor is fast enough to calculate Physx btw)
  2. thanks for the memory allocator link. Never heard of it before :)
  3. In this case, the GPU is limiting you game performance. The GT545 is a old low-end Graphics card. according to your budget you should replace it. If there is still budget left you could add a SSD to your system. In my case this added lots of performance to both, my system and Arma. but the good news: its not about your RAM :P
  4. Hi R3vo, i only found the processor at intels ark: http://ark.intel.com/de/products/33933/Intel-Xeon-Processor-X3360-12M-Cache-2_83-GHz-1333-MHz-FSB it seems to be a quad core, not a single core EDIT: Letsgo, what doyu you mean with you xeon is good question? I would not buy a xeon if i would play only arma because arma "loves" a high cpu clock -> buy a cpu that can be overclocked
  5. Hi LetsGo, your Xeon 3360 is kind of a problem. Arma is a very cpu intensive game. But, according to the things i have read on my usual forums, 30fps at Medium/low should be possible without big problems. If you want to research yourself -> you should know that the Xeon 3360 and the Q9550 use the same chip (there are more Q9550 users left)
