    I think I've found a bug, although I'm not sure if it's a bug in Warlords or in Porquerolles terrain. I've made many Warlords maps for me and my friends, but for some reason Warlords absolutely refuses to work on Porquerolles terrain. It gives me an error message and when I press play all I can see is a black screen and Warlords isn't even initializing. This is the error message: http://i.imgur.com/w3bjeSF.jpg I never had any problems with Warlords or with Porquerolles, so I'm really curious what's wrong. Any ideas?
  2. I was talking about uploading, not downloading. My dedicated server isn't near me, it's not even in my country so I can't just go to it and tell it to download something.
  3. I have a question: I'm setting up a new dedicated server for my Arma 3 Unit, and I want CUP Terrains to be on that server. Do I really have to upload the whole CUP Terrains Complete on the server? It's almost 13 gigabytes of data, it will take me literally 10-12 days to upload this. Is there a package for dedicated servers that weighs less?

    [COOP] Vigilancia Aeternum

    Just discovered this mission - it's so great! I love insurgency/domination style missions, and this is somewhere in between. I really like that the mission is really simple and doesn't have a ton of various scripts that kill performance. We're playing it on our dedicated server and have a lot of fun! Great job Nikander! I have one small request/question - is there any way to change the AI skill or their aiming precision? Right now they're all pretty much snipers, it's sometimes very annoying when some dude 300 metres away headshots you on their first shot. Maybe some new mission parameter to set their skill would help. Just a suggestion :-) EDIT: One more small suggestion - right now the amount of spawning civilians is a bit too high. They slow down the performance and spawn in some weird places - after playing for half na hour there was about 10 civilians in vehicles bumping around the main NATO base in Altis. I think it would be fine if they would spawn a lot less often.

    Ok this is freaky, I've checked a lot of maps and some of the work great, some of the are unplayable with this scenario. For example Bornholm works perfectly - AI spawns on the ground and they behave like they should. But Takistan - some AI spawn under ground, some on the ground, some vehicles float through buildings, and every single spawned soldier has only few frames of animation. It's bizzare, and it looks like some stop-motion animation like in movies. I should note that there's no lag, server fps is very high (50), and every soldier spawned through Zeus works and behaves normally. I have every mod needed, the only thing that has changed is the new All Out Warfare version. EDIT: God damnit, sorry for the confusion and wasting your time! Turns out that my dedicated server disabled some mods for some reason (or someone else did). Crap, sorry again!

    Of course it's loaded. As I've said - they spawn under the ground of the map somewhere and it's impossible to move them over the ground, even when I use Zeus. They just wriggle around like maniacs. I'll test this scenario on more maps, but so far the bug seems to happen on Gorgona and Crimea. Units placed in Zeus spawn normally on the ground, so maybe there's something wrong with the script. Oh, one more thing - tasks that spawn vehicles and buildings also spawn them in weird places (under ground or hovering above ground).

    I have a very weird bug - I've put this mission on my dedicated server, but every time I spawn a red enemy zone, every single enemy spawns under ground. It only happens on custom maps, it works perfectly on Altis and Stratis. I've never had this problem before, and I've played every version of your mission.

  10. Hm, I don't get it. I wanted to use your map to play it on some extra maps I have installed, so I've changed the name etc. but when I start the mission I spawn out of the map area in the middle of nowhere and there is a ton of markers outside the playable zone (in the black outside of the map). I've tested it on Chernarus, Isla Duala and Takistan and it always works that way. I have the latest COOP08 version of your mission. Am I missing something?

    That's exactly my point. The effects do look better, yes, but they're not so good to justify this loss in framerate. Anyway, I'm sure that this mod will have a lot of patches and tweaks so it's gonna be fine after some updates.

    The performance impact of this mod is way, wayyy to big. You need to focus on optimization, tank battles are pretty much slideshows right now.

    Sharpen filter

    So the patch that came out today added a "Sharpen" filter. This filter was always in the game, but now we can control the strength of this effect. The problem is that by default the sharpen effect is on 0, and we can change to a value between 0-200. I would like to know what was the default "sharpen" value before the patch - I want my game to look exactly the same as it used to before 1.26 came out. Was it 100? I know that this question is kinda minor, but when I'm playing with friends I make a ton of screenshots and I want them to look as good as they always did. I'm also pretty sure that only a dev can answer this question.

Every single one of my friends has the same problem: we click the "Open Launcher" option, then we can see the Launcher on our taskbar but can't do anything with it - it's just constantly minimized and the only thing that we can do is close it. It's a shame, I really wanted to use it. Any ideas?

    East Static Weapons Pack

    There's something very wrong with the RDS Tank Pack Extension for the Aggresors mod. I just wanted to make sure that something's wrong so I checked it few minutes ago and this is what happens: every time I spawn an armored vehicle from the Tank Pack Extension it is marked as Independent (even though it should be OPFOR), and look what happens when a player gets near: ...and they switch back to Independent when the player leaves the area. This behaviour is really messing up scripts in some missions.

    Just letting you know BI - Launcher is still completely broken and never maximizes from the taskbar, it's unusable.

    Speed of sound is in the Arma engine by default, you don't need any mods.

    Well, shit, then I guess I am missing something, sorry. I have ASDG_JR, ASDG_Attachments and newest TMR and I only get visible bipods on default Arma 3 weapons. I can attach a bipod to every modded weapon that I have and it functionally works but they're invisible which isn't very fun.

    Artillery has some problems. Try shooting with a Scorcher, the noise is terrible, I thought my speakers/headphones were dying. But, overall, this mod is just fantastic. Firefights inside buildings are terrifying now.

    Arma 3 Marksman Rifles Pack

    Your weapons always look fantastic visually, but the gunshot sounds and recoil are so bad... M14 in this mod barely even kicks when you're firing full auto. Also, why there's a scope on all the guns when there's no scope installed in inventory? That's bad design.
