'Heli-4-Hire' SimCopter Revival Dynamic Sandbox (WIP)
nosecone replied to Mayhem McAwesome's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
Hi Moach I updated TOH to rearmed which is showing on the top right main menu. Maybe I have missed an update somewhere along the way. Are you referring to army 2 or the TOH rearmed patch. I did see in the first page of this topic someone mentioned Jedra_missions addon. The work you are doing sounds fantastic and after the PC being away since Xmas Im hanging out to give it a try. Cheers Rhys -

Hi all currently I am working on a heli dam for a fire fighting mission. The bucket I have is full of water and when it's empty I can dip into the sea to refill the bucket. The dam is complete but how do I add a trigger so when I dip my bambi bucket into the heli dam it fulls with water as it does when I dip into the sea? Cheers Rhys

Helicopter Interaction Question
nosecone replied to nosecone's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS : MISSIONS - Editing & Scripting
Thanks honO Placed the files into a missions folder as shown in the string you posted above but still no luck. I have created a mission using the editor and placed the files from the osmo folder directly into my new mission but no luck. Regards Rhys -

nosecone replied to nosecone's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS : MODELLING - (O2)
Thanks Thromp Made a simple shape around the dam to stop walking through it. Next step if you can let me know, is to work out how to place transparent water object in the dam and in the bambi bucket Rhys -
Making my object soild
nosecone replied to nosecone's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS : MODELLING - (O2)
Thanks Thromp Is it best to copy my object in the first LOD and then click on the Geo LOD paste my object set apply mass and when >Structure > convexity > component convex hull. Or should I make a simple object in the Geo LOD to cover the object? Rhys -

nosecone replied to nosecone's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS : MODELLING - (O2)
Thanks Thromp Applied what you suggested, it worked but the only problem is the whole helidam is now solid and the top hole is gone so I can't dip the bucket into the dam. I opened the geomerty LOd applied a box and great can't walk through my dam all I noticed was each corner pushed me away from the dam but I guess I need to make a shape closer to the dam so I can walk round in a circle and not in a square Rhys -
Hi all With the Help of several members I have been working a mission evolving bambi bucket and now a helidam. The mission was designed by Thromp and was called put out the fire. He very gratefully updated the mission and I have simply replaced his original bucket with my bambi bucket The helidam replace the bambi bucket that sven very kindly re done for me and added the config files. The helidam is un-textured and a work in progress. I still need to work out how to add water in the dam so the chopper can pick up and I'm sure I will have more question for members here as I go about working on my project. Big thanks to Thomp who was the original mission designer, Sven for helping me with the bambi bucket and config files and [FRL]myke for helping with adding contacts etc.. Here is a image to show what I have done so far http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p178/hsvgto/helimission.jpg (125 kB) Rhys
