    Arma 3 Headless Client

    Thanks for the response I figured it out the headless client is running on my second PC and connecting to our server we rent as I was adding my local IP instead of the correct IP DUUUHH it would not connect added the right one and boom works like a champ. Anther question I have though is if I add 3 HC slots in a mission for example will the other 2 HC1, HC2 auto slot into those units and will it distribute the AI load across all three HC'S would I have to add something in the init.sqf code for it to recognize them? Also would it be better to have all 3 HC'S on 3 different PC'S or would it still work fine on one with a decent hardware setup? Thanks

    Arma 3 Headless Client

    Hello I need some help I started messing with setting up a headless client again after awhile of not fooling with it had it working before now client just keeps getting kick from the steam ticket failed null.     Thanks Gunter. So far I have found a couple problems that need fixed #1 the plane service stations don't repair rearm the WW2 planes maybe someone knows a script that works for the vehicles in the mod? #2 The German planes attack there own vehicles in the AO not sure why at the moment I will try to trouble shoot.     So I got my server up and running with Iron front took a bit of uploading and troubleshooting but tested and it works. Gunter I have a version of my Advanced Operations I am editing for Iron Front it is a CTI mission should be done tomorrow I will send you a link once I test it and then you can throw it up on the site. I wanted to port it over to one of the WW2 maps but Got a error about unknown size so its going to be on Altis. No choppers presents a problem for moving from AO to AO is there a US or Russian transport plane maybe I can make it where there is one at the air bases around the island and some vehicle depots as well to solve the problem.

I got the server to start with the lite mods but then when I try to run my quick test mission I made it wont let me load it because it says its dependent on deleted items, I take it because the lite version does not have some of the content of the full? Or its because of the command line I used. Does anyone have a custom server command line example that will run this mod on my server the way it should be setup? Thanks

    Thanks for the response I am familiar with the SOP for adding mods to the server but as Iron front is part of this and converted from A2 and Arrowhead wasn't sure if I needed anything else to run on a dedicated A3 server. I will upload the files and give it a shot I will let you guys know if I have a running server for Iron front.

    Thanks for the info some good stuff on that website. But still have not found a Arma 3 server running this mod the IP's on that site I tried the servers are not up do you know a A3 server that is up and running? I have 2 A3 servers I rent for my Unit and wouldn't mind running one with the mod what would I have to upload to the server just the converted files or is there some other things as well? Thanks

    Just got this up and running kind of allot of setup but cool mod I have been waiting for a WW2 mod for A3 and stumbled across this great work guys. So now that I have the mod where are all the multiplayer servers is there a list of some running the mod?

  19. So I'm hoping someone can help me out because I have tried everything I can think of. I am adding the final unit re textures to my addon pack but wan't to have some custom Ghillie sniper units but for the life of me I can't get my texture .paa to go onto the sniper model correctly I get into the editor after repacking the addon and I see my re texture but the sniper mask and other clothing texture are all mixed up and not correctly applied to the unit. If someone can give me a simple config.cpp example with the right classnames for the blufor Ghillie sniper unit to add a custom color re texture that would be great thanks.

    Yup you got something here with this script I was looking for something just like this for awhile place markers for the AO'S and be able to adjust the enemy units to what your happy with and the random objectives is a big part. This all plays real smooth together with a set of scripts like this for people to make some different missions with should be great results. Testing that out now almost have it tuned in here thanks. ---------- Post added at 02:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:09 PM ---------- Bingo that did it except for the tower, once the AO was cleared all the remaining vehicles despawned nice work man. Not sure whatsup with that tower but not that big of deal to have the wreckage of it left behind more realistic I guess.

    Ahh BIS_fnc controls all of that got it. Your script works great I couldn't be happier with it I was just wondering how all that was controlled the AI is just being stupid and running into each other what else is new. I have replaced the scripts with those and will test thanks JShock :)

    Tried them all tested ingame negative on those man. What about the fn_deleteOldAO if you could figure out why that did not work than it should solve the tower problem right? The other thing it would help with is getting rid of the vehicles that are just damaged because the script I'm using only deletes destroyed vehicles. Another question I have is how does the patrol script handle the spawn of the units and their waypoints do they just randomly choose the paths they follow is there a set amount of generated waypoints for each AO that they share? Because it seems as though some of the vehicles tend to follow the same paths and run to each other.

    Hey JShock after some heavy test runs everything is working gd the chopper is now a death machine and all the AO'S flip after completing the 2 tasks. The destroyed towers and vehicles however still do not despawn I did everything as instructed even double checked to make sure I didn't miss anything so not sure whatsup with it? ---------- Post added at 10:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:55 PM ---------- K adjusted the deadbody removal script I use to delete all the vehicles so I just need a way for the tower to disappear after the AO is dropped.
