Please hurry with the Linux server fix. The only regular server that is up right now is 7th Cav and playing there is like trying to get permission from your neighborhood association to build swimming pool. And while I appreciate the massive influx of new players brought in by DayZ allows Bohemia to spend resources patching the game, if Linux is a certified server platform then hold the release until everything can be released together. It's not like this patch fixes an unplayable game so a short delay in the overall release would not have hurt.

One of the first games I played in ArmaIIFree, somebody on the server had hacked it somehow. He was doing all kinds of really annoying things like changing all the menu's to "I'm Gay" and what not. Just as I was about to leave the server, I'm in the base and all of a sudden an enemy full blown naval missile frigate spawns. It's got a full crew manning all the guns and just blows everything in our base away in seconds. There it was sailing in the dirt just blasting away like crazy.

I have the free version and I'm finally figuring out how to play. I would like to purchase the full game, but I'm not really sure what it gets me above the Arma2Free. Here is my biggest problem with ARMA2FREE--lack of servers and players. It seems like most of the populated servers are higher than 100ping or some kind of stupid cops and robbers mod. Will the full game have more servers and players available? Is the teamwork better and with better admin monitoring to get rid of stupid team-killers and hackers better on servers? (Funny side story, playing the other day, some hacker placed a fully loaded enemy naval missile frigate in our permanent HQ). If anybody can answer those questions and just in general tell me what good stuff I can get by upgrading I would appreciate it.
