Take your own advise some time.... its a completely separate problem. Now actually helping the OP and any others that might get this.... I found that if i got into the LEFT hand side of the chopper then it would give me the slingload waypoint but no mission update, if you get in the RIGHT side of the chopper the mission will update, new waypoint will be given and she will update you on more details. Basically. Left hand side controls = bugged / wont update mission properly Right hand side controls = Works fine and mission will update.
