  1. I think a few or all of the interface icons are not updating their state when the state is changed via the keyboard. For example, when using a bound key to increase/decrease throttle, the throttle icon on the instruments isn't updated to properly reflect its current state.
  2. The engine power-off sound is played when disengaging the starter. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but I don't think the starter is required for more than a few seconds and oddly enough the sound only plays when starting the engine the first time. Steps: 1. Start the game 2. Power on to batteries 3. Starter on (ticking sound plays) 4. throttle to idle 5. Starter off -> engine power-down sound plays, yet the engine is running idle. if you repeat these same steps after landing, the power down sound no longer plays.
  3. The problem is you can't (not as far as I've seen) return the throttle to idle, once moved from the closed state it will only toggle between idle and full, so I guess it's more of an interface issue (since it works only after binding a key to it).
  4. ... apparently you can't After so awesomely landing the preview chopper in the middle of a pond, I tried to see what quirkiness would ensue. Impressively it stayed afloat for awhile unharmed until I switched the battery back on and the engine went critical. then exited the vehicle and the blades magically disappeared. Anyways the important point was that on exiting the vehicle then returning sometime later and swimming up against it, it resulted in an insta-death. so much for taking on boats.
  5. Adjusting the head position through free head move does not update the head's origin (center of rotation); it still rotates about the original model head's center which causes very odd camera rotations/angles. (I'll assume that being able to move the head outside/through the cockpit/instruments is just a beta thing)
  6. Not sure if this is implemented yet, but there's no indication it is actually braking the rotor. 1. Land 2. Throttle to idle 3. Battery off 4. Hit rotor brake -> nothing happens
  7. Hi, Just started the community preview, and taking my time inspecting the cockpit when after 5min idle, I notice the rotors beginning to rotate, very slowly. With the engines off and no power they shouldn't move even under gale-force winds, but I stepped out in case to see if they'd continue spinning and they instantly stopped. Hopping back in and waiting another 5 min produces the same "haunted" rotors behaviour! ---------- Post added at 04:09 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:02 AM ---------- to add to it (possibly separate bug entirely): after starting the rotors properly and turning off the engine, from inside the cockpit the rotors spin indefinitely. as soon as the player exists they spin down. too conspicuous of a coincidence...
