I down know your joystick so you may be need the trim set and the trim release option. Then gps. It's cool. And.. in case of autorotation Engine 1 & 2 to idle.
Change weapon & fire.
I THINK you can get the needed file to play chernarus in the free version.

Do you play with a joystick? In witch difficulty?
The "classic" procedure is to turn your thorttle to idle and push yor collective down. keep your speed to 60-80 and when you "feel" it, start flaring and pull up your collective to kiss the ground. Mush harder to do than to say ;)
Good courage !
-
if you raise the collective do you need to put left pedal in? conversley does lowering the collective induce left yaw?:)You can see on my feet that i'm constantely plying with it. That's awesome
See when I slow down I have to push left pedal to not turn. Normal.
Fast response guy's :)
See you I Muuuuuust go to bed.. _-_

I flyed with a friend and he could not deploy rope. But may be he were too far I don't know.. I'll make a more serious test today.

Yes. As soons as your head isn't center on XY or Z axes it's bugged. So it's not natual to look behind the chopper or.. check dead angle etc....
Check.

How to use it in multiplayer? I tried yesterday but I think it does not work.

I use this line :
this animate ["addDoors", 0]; this animate ["addFLIR", 1]; this animate ["addFLIR2", 1]; this animate ["addHoldingFrame", 1]; this animate ["addTread", 0]; this animate ["addTread_Short", 1]; this animate ["addMusicUnit", 1];At the moment it don't work I'll try to delete one of these flir

Is there a way to get TOH flight model on some Arma2OA chopper?
-
Ticket ; http://dev-heaven.net/issues/26500#change-117565
To avoid that just disable or unbind your X ; Y ; Z translation axe on track IR software.
By advance thanks for fixing this bug.
-
I know that but it don't "work"
For ex I can't use the flir camera after adding it to my chopper. It's only visual.

I like your setup hon0.That's,,, dedicated:)
What"s the name of that mouse sitting there, minding its own business ?
Thanks.

Hey ! there is no building in my video but it wasn't wanted.. Now I found all the required .pbo and it's great to fly arround here ! With "ok" performance on a little pc.
-
It's great but how can we get these features active?
-
Which flight model do you use? In expert mode you have to trim, trim & trim again. :)I never trim anything.. Except for veeeery long travel.
Next time you "loose" control try to check if your "pilot" can still move the stick. If yes so.. May be you're overspeed ;)
If no ahmm.. It'll be yes.. ^^

For rudder I use my Logitech Momo's pedals x'D
Ooooh ! And In the Box video it's the DEFAULT flight model ! Not the NightStalker's One
It's a bit "stupid" but I'm much more accurate while using momo's pedal than my dad's Saitek rudder cause on momo or every other "car" pedal to perform a left "turn" (sorry me noob ^^) you can push the left pedal OR release the right one.. I'm usualy flying at 20% pression on each pedals = neutral... (Weigth of my feet...) So I discoverd this "astuce...".
I'm using a Logitech G940. I originally tried to fly with an Xbox 360 controller but it just didn't have the fine control needed. This games needs a proper joystick and an analogue throttle (to control the collective) otherwise it will be a very frustrating experience.
If you are a real pilot, you will start to appreciate the game more with a more appropriate input device.
I read somewhere that Logitech joysticks are not completely compatible with TOH. It seems to me that you can not adjust your sensitivity. Am I right?
I guess it must be very disabling because I spent a lot of time to find the sensitivity that allows me to keep the stationary properly.
In the end I use two buttons that allow me to change my sensitivity "on the fly".

The actual pychical flying of a helicopter is mostly brain muscle. Like walking, or riding a bike. When one gets good at it one does not need to actually think about actually flying the helicopter, but allows the pilot to focus on other important tasks.SO I HAVE A CHALLENG FOR ANYONE HERE. Post a video of u being able to hover around in full control of the helicopter ranging your speed from o to 40 knots and altitude from 0 to 30 ft. And be able to land the left skid where u want it every time.
The thing is, this is impossoble with the current flight model.
Im not so consern about flight models, but the ability to be able to enjoy the game by being able to do what a helicopter can do in real life.
Im glad some people enjoy the game so much that they defend it by saying someone else is a lier.
Yes im dissappointed. I got my say out. Im now done.
Just my 2 cents

"Let everybody in vehicles' cargo space rappel down on a rope."
By default everybody will get out. So may be we need to "say" to the editor that our copilot isn't at a cargo slot... Something like that..
Hope it helps

Turn you hud on you'll see some limit on it. You'll understand :)
-
-cpuCount=4 -maxmem=4096 -nosplash -nointro
Adjust this command line to your config and try to see a difference.
I think 9800gt is a bit ''old'' for Take on Helicopters
