Good to hear!! I've been distracted with A3 and the MSO-style mission that has already been released (CQB one).. which I think uses the same build (ie: has a locality option). Question for anyone who knows: How do I adjust how quickly enemy dead bodies are cleaned up for the CQB populator? I understand it's quite aggressive in order to keep things running smoothly however I'd like to try bumping it up to just a bit longer to allow players to recover items on dead bodies. :cool: -

So...am I understanding you correctly in that 3rd person is not 'realistic' but peripheral indicator dots are a good compromise? If you play on Veteran mode you will never see these things (or squad indicators, or on-map markers, or death messages, etc). You are focusing on the one aspect of the argument that perhaps has merit.. for all the other reasons 3rd person is perfectly valid. Look... up to now Arma 1st person has been.... clunky at best.... hence the popularity of 3rd person view. Yes it is better now... try driving a humvee in A2 in 1st person and come back to me. One of many examples of why 3rd person is popular. -
Did your mission have a crate filler script in it? If so this is why.

See my sig although you will need to join teamspeak and get the password. We tried an open public server but there are just too many idiots and not enough server admin tools :p I get the same problem when I try and change the name of the vehicle from mobile_west_0. Great job on the Seize Ground mission btw. Works great except for the MHQ name issue mentioned above.. .which really isn't an issue :p

Works fine... it's using BTC Revive and there is no deploy like in MSO - it's a teleport to MHQ thing. You can change the time sync param to force a specific time/date -

Thanks for this mission lots of fun and runs a LOT (+20 FPS) better with no fill scripts (with around 15 players AI on clients). -

Don't put spaces in the file name or weird characters. Keep this part of the filename under 28 characters to avoid the editor creating a new mission folder on you (is it 28? can't remember) co22_Best_Mission_v1a.stratis.pbo co22_ACE_Best_Mission_v1a.stratis.pbo Put the filename or part of it in the mission name field as well (under Advanced Intel) ACE co22 Best Mission version 1a -

^ Yes Arma will pick another port if the current one is in use. For example we have 4 A2 servers 2302, 2312, 2322, 2332 and just firing up the A3 -server it picks 2326 as it's port -

ACE includes DAC so it's just easier to use that if you are already using ACE :p Were you able to get camps working with respawn? Also have you tried a different waypoint config to see if camps spawn easier (one with less of a distance check between objects)? edit: or forcing a camp spawn using game logic and setDir 5;
