Yay, more stuff people might call CONSPIRACY </MWAHAHA> Another version of what might have happened regarding the shot down plane: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e23_1406177167 The author implies that the plane might have been shot down by the national guard during an excercise. The amout of typos makes this blog however look quite unreliable. Has anyone found any other sources with that information?

http://consortiumnews.com/2014/07/20/what-did-us-spy-satellites-see-in-ukraine/ I wonder though, how can you see on the satellite images that the soldiers were drunk. Beer bottles does not mean they were drunk. Might be alcohol free beer.

http://www.n24.de/n24/Nachrichten/Politik/d/5090800/russland---wo-sind-die-beweise-fuer-mh17-abschuss--.html Russia demands the presentation of proofs that it was Russia or the Rebels, who shot down the plane. Moreover they demand the publication of the communication between the Ukrainian air traffic controller and the crew of that plane, since they are of big importance for the investigation.

I know it, but first and foremost its our internal problem. But we dont like when someone sticks his nose into our internal problems. Now imagine what would happen if Snowden would say that Germany is spying on the USA. I think my house would be right now bombed into dust, just because you can.

Thanks for such kind words, americans should really stop wondering why the rest of the world hates them. Oh wait, they dont care.

Oh and picking at single words is apparently your strongsuit. Are we going to get personal now or what? If you read between the lines, you might notice that "no 100% privacy" means surveillance and policing of individuals. I dont know about US but according to german law, my privacy is untouchable by everyone except me. That means that some prick at the NSA has no right to read my emails. But thats exactly what Obama said they want to do if it means its good for our safety.

Id choose Germany, or to be specific Bavaria (Yeah we like to dream of our Great Bavarian Kingdom :), I guess that's why the rest of Germany hates us) :P To choose between USA and Russia is like to choose between the devil and the deep blue sea.

Yeah and I have also never said that Russia is a democracy.

    Ukraine General

Yeah but Russia was never a democratic state and doesnt really pretend to be one. US however bomb countries for their lack of democracy while in their own country that same democracy is being flushed down the toilet, slowly but surely. How long will it take that US will look more and more like Russia, China and North Korea. Oh btw, some of the closest US allies are dictatorships. e.g. Saudi Arabia. To quote one famous guy who turned a democratic state into a dictatorship: On boing off-topic: the whole thread has long gone away from topic discussing what happens in Ukraine. Right now it should be named "Why we hate Russian Imperium"

So youre always talking about how brainwashed the people in Russia are, maybe. But you have to remember that people in our oh so free western society are just as brainwashed. Democracy is just another religion the big ones used to keep people in control for centuries. When it started it was maybe a good idea and kind of well implemented. To quote Benjamin Franklin But times have changed, e.g. here is what the current US president has said: http://news.genius.com/President-barack-obama-remarks-on-nsa-wiretapping-prism-annotated It quite the contrary to what Franklin said. We have now some strange militarization of police in the USA https://www.aclu.org/blog/tag/militarization-police Surveillance cameras everywhere http://www.bbc.com/news/magazine-22274770 US has cited a law, which allows them to kill their own sitizens without trial http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jun/23/us-justification-drone-killing-american-citizen-awlaki Couple of years ago they would've put you in a concentration camp like Guantanamo, now theyd simply kill you. I guess thats even better, god bless america for being so kind. And total observation of the citizens by the NSA. But hey, all of it is for our own safety. So US now looks more like Orwell's "1984" or that movie Equilibrium http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equilibrium_(film) IIRC in "1984" the countries even led constant wars against each other, not because they wanted to conquer something, but because they needed an enemy, so that their society could not think about problems of their own govt. Sounds familiar? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_United_States_military_operations So next time you post something about brainwashing just look at you own backyard.

Then why dont they show it. For instance this guy tells that their satellite pictures show that it were ukrainian troops who shoot down that plane, but yeah he must be a conspiracy theorist. http://www.theburningplatform.com/2014/07/21/whistleblower-u-s-satellite-images-show-ukrainian-troops-shooting-down-mh17/ Russia says it has sattelite images showing ukrianian Buks deployed near that area. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-07-21/russia-says-has-photos-ukraine-deploying-buk-missiles-east-rader-proof-warplanes-mh1 Ukraine tells us it has also some satellite images proving it was russia who shot it down, wait Ukraine has got a space program? Everyone tells us something, and no one wants to prove it with something more than "I say it is so, you must believe me". Thats why I made the part about threats of using force bold. THREATS, not actual use of force. And you know how lawyers can interpret their own laws, and what they sometimes understand as threat.

Oh yeah evil russian laws again. Lets see what our democratic laws in Germany tell about separatism. http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/stgb/__82.html Kind of Translation: If you want to declare a part of Germany as your own, or want to take that part away from Germany or want to change the constitutional order with use of force, or threatening to use force, you will go to jail for 1 till 10 years. In less severe cases it is 6 months till 5 years. I mean you may go for up to 4 years in Russia and for up to 10 years in Germany into jail for the same crime. Russia totally evil. Of course we cant compare russian and german jails, here the people go to jail like on vacation.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/16/gaza-children-killed_n_5591281.html These boys would definately become terrorists should Israel allow them to grow up. I mean they were already covering Hamas terrorists, there were at least 100 terrorists hiding among the kids using them as human shields. Too good Israelis are God's chosen people and can decide who can live and who should die.

Yeah I see how Yeltsin would have done as well as Putin. Appearing drunk to international meetings, or not appearing at all because he was sleeping drunk in his plane, or trying to direct a german orchestra (of course drunk). He made the whole world laugh about Russia. Yeah he was a good president. I bet US would give everything to see another Yeltsin today.Next thing about economy. I see how allowing mafia to do whatever they want benefits the country itself. Sure Putin may be mafioso himself (maybe its also what our propaganda likes to repeat), but he is the one who controls it and uses it to benefit not only himself but also the country. Putin stopped the uncontrolled theft of everything what could be stolen. Yeah now those oligarchs like Chodorkowsky are hiding in Europe and crying about evil Putin and how good they are. Yeltsin on the other hand just let the things go downhill while he had the party of his life.

    World Cup 2014

The referee was also nice to Argentina several times: Kramer was hit twice (first time might be a penalty) hard and had to be replaced. Schweinsteiger was also hit twice in a row each time by a player with a yellow card. At least one of those cases should have led to the red card (the one when Schweinsteiger had his face "renovated").

You have a point here, but still do you think it would be better if Russia was ruled by someone like Yeltsin, who is not capable to rule this country? Until we see a better russian ruler than Putin, Putin is the best option IMO. He might be autocratic, but he is capable to keep that huge country under control. And maybe its the only way right now to keep Russia under control. You cant compare a country like Germany, which was born from Prussian militant mentality, where you're taught starting with kindergarten that you have to work, work, and work some more and dont you dare to break the rules, to a country like Russia, where the people's biggest dream there is to gain something without working hard for it (just look at their folklore/proverbs). Sorry if it was offensive to russian or german people here. You have to remember Russia alone is capable to destroy earth several times. I wish to see that there is order in that country, may it cost some liberal freedoms. I dont want to see it in chaos like it was in the 90s. I never lived in Russia, so I cant build a every reliable opinion, but I guess many russians would agree with me on that point. ----------------------------------------------------------------- @vilas In fact Russia is a multicultural state with many languages. In some regions that languages are also state languages besides Russian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_Russia Also I havent heard about current russian policy of killings and deportations of non-russians. BTW, it was called "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer" there was no part about "eine Sprache".

Its great to call others conspiracy theorists, at the same time quoting US Govt. claiming they have "proofs" that Russia is an evil empire. I guess those "proofs" are just as "rock hard" as proofs about Saddam's WMDs. Lets see: Do they actually send it to Ukraine? How would you react to a civil war near your borders, when both sides of this war have been repeatedly crossing this border and someone is shelling russian villages near that border and attacking border guards. Some people are confident there is a God watching over them, some are confident there is a flying spaghetti monster. Yet again, where are the documents or pictures actually proving it. What kind of information, the kind that started the last Iraq war? Or they were taken from the UA army, lets not forget two huge border regions rebelled, there would be a lot of hardware rebels could have seized over time. And so on...

    World Cup 2014

Well I didnt find it boring, for me it was very thrilling. Germany dominated the match because they had purely offensive tactics and Argentina counted on counter attacks. And man they had some awe inspiring counters which looked even more dangerous since german defense was pretty thin. But whatever, I cant describe how I feel right now, Its just awesome. Big Thanks to our team!!!
