Hey guys, I bought Arma X from steam and it crashes a lot (program is not responding and it quits to desktop). First in single player campaign it crashed about 2 times in 10 minutes, so I gaved up and tried multiplayer. But it crashes again, sometimes after 5 minutes, sometimes after 20 minutes. Usualy it happens when a script runs from the user made mission on the server (for ex after you die in the 7th cavalry coop server a special menu appears - wait for revive etc - and that's when it crashed last time). Edit: it's not a windows problem, because every other game works perfectly steam and non-steam .... help :)

Hello guys, I started working on a campaign called "Military Operations". Basically the player is a private in a small unit that will be put in realistic modern combat situations (not a large scale war). The first missions will be in a desert setting, but I can't decide witch map to use. I'm shifting my work to map to map and can't figure out what to use. So I wan't to ask you which desert map is your favourite? Afghan Everon CAT Afghanistan DMA Lybia or any other suggestions (tonali is a great map, but too laggy) On which map would you enjoy playing a campaign more?

Well I don't see many fortresses in the addon comunity so your addon will be appreciated if you want to do it. I for one will love to use an addon like that. Right now, I'm trying to use lot's of sandbags walls as a replacement for fortresses, so Im searching for object addons with sandbags. Edit: In fact after 2 days of trying to create a realistic outpost, I figured another approach, more practical

Thanks for the input guys, right now I'm trying to make a realistic military outpost for this campaign and my God is hard. I just don't find any addon pack that has these objects. I need higher fences, more fortresses. Got any suggestions?

ohh, thanks :D Comment edited for another problem: I can't make units say anything. So I recorded my voice welcome.wav, converted to .ogg. Made a sound folder in a mission folder, I moved it there. On missions folder I mate description.ext, with these lines: class CfgSounds { sounds[] = {welcome}; class welcome { name = "welcome"; sound[] = {"welcome.ogg", db60, 1.0}; titles[] = {}; }; }; When I use command playSound "welcome", I hear it no problem, but with say command doesn't work. Inserted a unit and added this in init: this say "welcome". No errors, but he's lips arent moving and I can't hear anything. I found the solution, for anyone else who might have this problem: ogg wasn't encoded properly.

Hey guys, I wan't to make the gunfights last longer, so I was thinking of changing the accuracy. Problem is today I started to learn about this stuff. class Soldier:Man { accuracy=X; }; Is this correct, because I don't see any changes :(? If I want to change the accuracy for everything do I have do it class by class, or is there an ALL command? Can you tell me a site for all commands like: accuracy, sensitvityear, etc and what do they do exactly? Thanks :)

Could you please recommend some good helicopter addons or mods that have great hellis? Im looking for 30mm-20mm canons, to atack from a distance. I tried some RAH-66 Comanche addon, really great but the zoom is too low. Please? :D
