People say to increase FPS you should change the following settings in the CFG file of Arma 3 GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; Does changing these actually make a difference or is it just a myth?

Heyy, Just bought new cpu for my computer and just wondering how well ARMA 2 will run. Can't use "Can you run it" at moment as I haven't got cpu yet Specs: CPU I got coming: Intel Core 2 Quad Q7600 2.66ghz x4 - 2mb cache (Dont know if that matters) Grahpics Card: Sapphire Radeon 5450 HD 1GB DDR3 RAM: 2GB OS: Windows 7 32Bit I hope to be able to run ARMA 2 smoothly at medium settings with a nice view distance but no shadows. I have been playing arma 2 f2p (please no f2p abuse) and i have trouble running on my computer (Pentium D 3.0 ghz dual core 2 gb ram Radeon 5450 1GB DDR3) And the game does run ok, its just my cpu at the moment. But i was wondering if arma 1 worth buying while i wait to get a new cpu. What i want to know is that, is there a big difference between arma 1 and 2 in gameplay and all that (NOT GRPAHICS IM NOT WORRIED WHEN IT COMES TO THAT) For example is the ai as good and the overall gameplay. :confused:
