@Rellikki You locked my thread "9/11 Ten Year Anniversary " without any legitimate reason specified. Let see how cowardly you are, if you lock or if you leave this thread open. This should be interesting. The thread was intended solely to honor the victims of 9/11, but you have apparently a more accurate idea of what really happened that day than those who actually did the official investigations. Note that I did not write a single line of 'own theories, "but only posted a few quotes from the official 9/11 commissioners themselves. Not Charlie Sheen  Apparently you do not respect free speech and to have a different opinion than your own is apparently breaking the forum rules. I find it hard to believe that BIS accept such behavior from forum moderators. If so, I will refrain from using the official forum again and BIS will probably loose a customer in the process. Signing out.

In respect of the victims of the attack & the victims of the wars that followed. Never forget. "I don’t believe for a minute we got everything right, that the Commission was set up to fail, that people should keep asking questions about 9/11, that the 9/11 debate should continue and that the 9/11 Commission report was only "the first draft" of history." - 9/11 Commission co-chair Lee Hamilton "It is a national scandal"; "This investigation is now compromised"; "One of these days we will have to get the full story because the 9-11 issue is so important to America. But this White House wants to cover it up". - former (resigned) 9/11 Commissioner Max Cleland "I think at simplest terms, there’s a cover-up. The 9/11 Report is a joke, and is open to the possibility that 9/11 was an inside job." - CIA veteran Raymond McGovern http://dir.salon.com/story/news/feature/2003/11/21/cleland/index.html?pn=1 http://www.democracynow.org/2004/3/23/the_white_house_has_played_cover http://www.opednews.com/articles/genera_alan_mil_070922_seven_cia_veterans_c.htm http://patriotsquestion911.com/ "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." - Thomas Jefferson

Are you seriously using Wikipedia as a source? That is like using any forum, including this one as a source  So it's a war zone now? But it's not a war on the behalf of NATO? Is it a civil war? The rebels said themselves they would not last for 2 days without NATO support. Does that sound like a civil war to you? In one of the videos I posted you can see civilians, women and children picking up weapons to fight NATO and the rebels. Not the Libyan legitimate forces. It's not the Libyan people who started this but a small number of armed rebels of which some are members of al-Qaida. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8407047/Libyan-rebel-commander-admits-his-fighters-have-al-Qaeda-links.html Do you think "UN Resolution 1973" is giving them unlimited power to bomb any country, kill any leader and overthrow the regime in any country? Do you think that only using "air power" is a legitimate reason for not calling it a "war"? What if we start using ballistic nuclear missiles? That's not a war either because you have "no boots on the ground". Western countries and US / NATO have no right to overthrow the regime in Libya. Libya signed the Geneva conventions. Ghadaffi gave up on this WMD program. Libya never threatened any neighboring countries and most definitely not the US or any European countries. Libya was not a threat to global stability. In a way you are just a victim of propaganda. The Top Ten Myths in the War Against Libya. http://www.counterpunch.org/2011/08/31/the-top-ten-myths-in-the-war-against-libya/

Still posting speculations with no references or sources? Definition of "quote". 1. To repeat or copy the words of (another), usually with acknowledgment of the source. 2. To cite or refer to for illustration or proof. You can "lol" or argue all you want. It's like arguing that someone is stupid for saying that "only two things are infinite" when in fact that someone was simply quoting Albert Einstein. "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." - A.Einstein

Holy crap I just started playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I don't have time for another sandbox type of game and be able to satisfy my Arma abstinence :D Is it really that good? Oh and BTW what do you mean "shaky launch"?

Precisely, but then there are also powerful business interests in play that actually "benefits" from this war and especially if it is prolonged, and who also benefits from post war with reconstruction contracts and such. Maybe that is why NATO is bombing Libyan infrastructure? "This is clearly not a war on part of the Libyan people against their government, but a war on the part of NATO to exploit the resources of Libya ... They had a meeting to discuss the future of Libya in Paris. This meeting did not take place in Africa. It did not take place in Libya. It took place in Europe and this is nothing but an attempt to neo-colonize North Africa and they are beginning with Libya which have the most lucrative resources in Africa and the highest living standard in Africa. So this is clearly an act of force removal and regime change." - Political analyst and expert in Africa, Abayomi Azikiwe, RT. I have a question for you. I wonder who you are willing to bet is the most credible during times such as this. Is it the pro western main stream media or alternative media with nothing to loose that is actually going forward with reports from investigative reporters on the ground and who are confronting eyewitnesses and the Libyan people? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuxI_iW222k http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=NKgMeHq8VGg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYEo21gVJFc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P08CVqrhuAU

I'm with you. Actually I have been waiting for years for a VR type headset, preferably with 3D and head tracking. Imagine that on a monster PC and Arma III. I think I would have to quit my job to get enough time with it :D

You just don't get it. Nobody here is supporting Ghadaffi. He threatened to attack Europe as a revenge for the NATO bombings for crying out loud. I don't blame him but, I wouldn't exactly support him either :p The point being, US / NATO forces have no right to take sides in this conflict and to overthrow the regime. Did Libya attack the US? Did Ghadaffi even threaten to do so? I think not. So if this is the role of the UN, then why not liberate the Chinese from Hu Jintao? Why don't we demonize Kim Jong II and bomb North Korea? I bet these guys are a lot worse then Ghadaffi :D

Holy crap dude  I take it you never bothered to click the link. I'm not the one saying that the Jamahiriya is a democratic system. Those are the claims of Ghadaffi himself and the Libyan people. Why don't you ask them about how the system works? I understand your approach. You are simply not informed. What I am about to say here is not my personal views or claims. Just so we are clear on this. In reality the political system in the US is a one party system. You hear a lot of talk about "change" and especially during election campaigns, but in reality only administrations change but the policies don't. To better understand why I suggest you first look at this interview with congressman Ron Paul from 1988 where he explains how the political system in the US really is a one party system and why the real policy makers are beyond the reach of the democratic system. Ron Paul - The American Power Structure, 1988. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4245169480003136735# or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDEgBWO54dA I take it you have watched the full interview before reading on eh? So what is this power structure that Ron Paul is talking about you may ask. Well it's not so hidden actually. The real policy makers are a mixed bag of corporate leaders, super wealthy individuals and descendants of certain bloodlines such as the Rothschilds. The latter is a prime example of the European banking dynasties that have been around for a long time and whom are often shareholders in big banks including the Federal Reserve system, the US central bank. The feds is not a government institution but a privately own corporation of which many are not even American citizens. These people tend to meet on a regular basis, in secret, and they often invite political leaders from all over the world. They are most commonly known as the Bilderbergers. You may have heard about them? If not well that's because there is no media coverage of these meetings even though there are some very high profile and news worthy figures attending those meetings, some of which are Henry Kissinger, Colin Powell, Bill Clinton, Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair, Fu Ying (Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs), Paul-Henri Spaak (former Prime Minister and Secretary General of NATO) and many others including from my country; Carl Bildt, Anders Borg, Maud Olofsson, Mona Sahlin and Fredrik Reinfeldt (Prime Minister). How many in Sweden know about these meetings? Hardly a soul :j: "You know, by the time you become the leader of a country, someone else makes all the decisions." - Bill Clinton "The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings ... Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed ... For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence. On infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations ... And so it is to the printing press, to the recorder of man's deeds, the keeper of his conscience, the courier of his news, that we look for strength and assistance, confident that with your help man will be what he was born to be: free and independent." - John F. Kennedy, April 27 1961 (The President and the Press: American Newspaper Publishers Association Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York.) What JFK was talking about is something too monstrous for the common man to comprehend. It's simply unthinkable that a conspiracy of such scale can exist, and that is why it is so successful. Pretty much like how former FBI director J. Edgar Hoover elegantly put it himself "The individual is handicapped by coming face-to-face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists." Hoover was also in the Warren Commission that investigated the JFK assassination. Go figure  So if there is a "conspiracy" at work among this "elite" then why hasn't someone on the inside exposed it? The answer is, someone has. Quote "Dr. Carrol Quigley a professor of history at Georgetown University, is by his own boast, an insider with a front row view of the worlds money power structure. In his book "Tragedy and Hope" he cautiously exposed one of the best kept secrets of all time." The Capitalist Conspiracy: An Inside view of International Banking by G Edward Griffin, 1969. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6260646431723948415# or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-H99C4JEq80 Just watch it. It's not a perfect presentation but Edward Griffin is on the right track and he use very credible sources. Remember he did it over 40 years ago. The bottom line is this; Nothing is black or white and it's not a little naive to think of the US / NATO to be some kind of charitable organization bent on helping the world without something being gained in the process. It doesn't work that way. What we are witnessing in Libya is but a tiny part of a massive plot that is unfolding from behind the scenes. A "conspiracy" if you wish, but that is matter of definition. It's just business really. So am I opposed to all this? Yes and no. I simply don't know enough about it to form an opinion, but that is part the problem really. The fact that all this happens from behind the scenes is threatening the credibility of the democratic system. These are elected politicians and the people have a right to know what their representatives are up to, and especially when they are dealing with leaders from other countries. Don't you think? If no then I wonder what your definition of a democracy is.

You have a point. Most of us however are not constantly on the hunt for a new mate  People spend a lot of time pursuing various passions and interests. May it be playing war games, fishing, hunting, climbing or racing. Where is the sexual connection in that I wonder. Sure a bachelors perception of reality is a little different from someone who have been married for 30 years (not referring to me).
-
No worries you did an interesting analysis. I disagree however. I don't think that sexuality is the primary driving force behind peoples actions in life. What would the world look like if that was true :D I think prestige and possibly subconscious ideals is the main motivation behind what most people do in life. For example women tend to pursue their childhood dreams of a big marriage no matter the consequences. The desire to make a successful career is also a very strong motivational force. Power, wealth and influence.. the usual stuff. Luckily we also have people who simply strive to become better human beings and who don't value materialistic things as much. What most people seem to forget however is that none of these things are really important. These goals are rarely key to happiness. It's the journey that is really important. We all have dreams and hopes about what we would like to do and experience before we die. What if you suddenly realize you have wasted all your life to pursue those goals and never really lived? What a sinister awakening that would be. John Lennon was right. "Life is a ride".

That is excellent news! Keep up the good work :D

It was a second post. The forum adds to your previous post automatically within a certain timeframe. You should know. That is exactly what I said. Twice. Check again  YouTube is not a source. It's a service widely used by alternative media and journalists from all over the world. There are more to see than just cat videos :D I know what happened. What I said is US/NATO have no right to overthrow the regime in Libya and that Ghadaffi have a lot of support in both Libya and around the globe. As for the rest, I don't give a sh** to be frank. Al Jazeera is not alterative media but biased just like CNN or CBS. If you choose to believe the propaganda these channels put out in times of war, that is up to you. Yanks can be fed with incredible amounts of bullshit. It's different here. Donald Trump was right when he said "The world laughs at us." ---------- Post added at 11:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:25 PM ---------- WTF ... nobody is expecting you to understand it buddy, least the Libyan people. It's obvious you didn't read the discussion prior to posting :j: All I see is a lot of speculations on your behalf and no references or sources to back it up. Don't even think about addressing me without properly reading the discussion first.
-
I was referring to your previous post (#76) that I choose to ignore. Check previous reply for "evidence" Clearly you misunderstood my question. I didn't ask for evidence of civilian casualties. Read it again.

Not as much "claims" as common knowledge. Feel free to disprove what I say instead of relying on personal attacks. Being an idiot is nothing to brag about. Your point being? What was the purpose of the UN resolution again? Enlighten me. "Since Nato started bombing, Gaddafi support and approval ratings have actually soared to about 85 per cent. Of the 2,335 tribes in Libya, over 2,000 are still pledging their allegiance to the embattled president." - Scott Taylor, thechronicleherald.ca http://www.thefirstpost.co.uk/83092,news-comment,news-politics,dont-underestimate-libyan-support-for-colonel-gaddafi http://www.presstv.ir/detail/185602.html http://libyarevolt.wordpress.com/2011/02/28/support-of-the-libyan-people-for-colonel-gaddafi/ < Civilians arm themselves
