I want to add "deactivate mine" to another class of soldiers in my mission,but i am a bit clueless on how to do it ! I 've made a small script doing the same thing ,but i want the action to trigger only when i look towards the mine ;cursortarget didn't work for me though ! Thanks; -

Not that correct ! unless you're using a specific sound mod ! I have always failed at hearing AIs footsteps beyond 10 m,while AI can hear you and shoot you through wooden fences exactly even when the area is full of moving tanks creating noise all around ! We need a AI/environnement interaction in the game to make them more realistic !

oh guys ,thanks, Don't worry about syntax errors ,it's correct on my mission but still not working ... It's just that last part : "(cursortarget iskindof 'MineCore')&&(player distance cursortarget < 5") That has somethin wrong ! -

Ok thanks, I use this: player addaction [localize "STR_WF_Removemine","removemine.sqf",[],80,false,true,"","(cursortarget iskindof 'MineCore')&&(player distance cursortarget < 5)"]; But when i look towards the mine ,the action does'nt appear !! -

If it's going to be completely foggy at 5km then it's useless to go beyond that anyway :D -
@Benny I want to alterate coin_interface to change the flatdetection params to make it possible to build inside forests ,but i am a bit clueless on this matter,i don't want to have everything green either by removing the flat detection part :D Also,where can i change factories health points ? Thanks,

I edited the mission 071 and added castle walls (like those in devils castle) to the construction menu in fortifications ,but when i try to sell them using action 17 they don't disappear ,any idea why ?

This is the first time i see this thread,and i have to sa that it's very useful one ... once again ,thanks Kju :D I think that many bugs related to configs ae already listed,i want to add that there are also bugs related to fire rates of missiles in the game ... this information is particulary hard to find on the internet. For example : when you use the Apache 64D sodewinders in the game you will notice that you can shoot those 8 missiles at very fast rate (you can shoot 8 of them in less than 1 sec if you're fast enough),while in real life and according to a US navy pilot i have the chance to know,you can only shoot 2 of them at nearly the same time. but can't find any sources on this ! I noticed also,that in the game ,some weapons lock on things you can't see (javelin for example and saclos ones),this should be changed to allow them only to lock on things you can see (if there 's no ticket on this,i will make one). Concerning missile warning: the A10 and SU25 should have them,what they shouldn't have is the "radar lock" warning. -
Things like sounds and textures should be client side : anyone should be able to choose the sounds he like and textures he wants without having the server running them ! When it comes to content stuff,there should be a size limit to download things ... small mods can be dowloaded while connecting to server and when it comes to full conversions you should get the mod first !

@Xeno Another funny one : I prefer M1A2 Tusk to take towns in warfare,because AT soldiers will try to shoot the loader seat crewman using their rifles, instead of shooting the tank itself with AT while my gunner is killing them ^^ -
Please include biological weapons in the game to justify DayZ 2 in arma 3 :D

no need to go far away ... have you ever had a car accident ? i did once, and when you get out of the car you have huge orientation problems. For a massive vehicle like tank getting hit by rockets, the G force is much higher ! -

Same here,something is wrong this two days with arma servers,i keep getting disconnected and my internet drops when it happens ! EDIT / apparently it's a conflict with bandwidth=2 command,i removed it and now everything is fine ! -

I didn't mention spotting stuff,just accuracy ! A guy who gets out of a tank that received 2 RPG should be drunk-like for 2 mins ! -

Crewmen are the most accurate soldiers in the game,when you disable a tank the crew gets out and shoot you instantly with extrem accuracy ... it's like they inherit the tank's gun accuracy :D I don't have a good repro for this,but i am ready to make a video on it :D
