I've read through this whole post and havent found a solution. I think this is because my problem is a little different. I play Arma 2 vanilla and the sound works fine. Whenever I run OA; CO or any of the DLC I get no sound! This all happened after my computer shut off mid-game online. I was using the ST mod set. I unistalled and removed all mod folders and reinstalled and that did not resolve the issue. It has to be something to do with some AO file because Arma 2 works just fine. I have win7 64-bit. I use turtle beach x11 head set Realtek High Definition Audio Driver RTKVHD64.sys I've run dxdiag and it doesn't detect any problems I've set my speakers to default Every time I do the "verify integrity of game cache" action it always tells me one file wasn't validated and needs to be reaquired
