You should make one out of every fifty corpsmen completely useless or actually hurt you more. REALISM!

Some tallywacker shot at me a while back with a SAW, and you can be sure he ruined someone's EDL to get it. It definitely happens. If I was in dire straits, then I'd grab anything that shoots. AK mags fit in cargo pockets and dump pouches. They can only NJP you if you survive.

Yeah, that'd be great for the Muj. I bet you could even script that in.

I'm not sure about the army, but I know Marines usually have one corpsman per line platoon. In a Weapons Company, they'll try to get two or three per platoon since they can operate as independent sections.

How will body armour be implemented in ArmA III?

I heard that diesel fuel and JP8 would dissolve something in it, causing it to fall apart. I'm not sure how true that is. That's just the rumor that went around. -
Yeah, just think about the impact reversible incapacitation would have on multiplayer. You'd need a casualty plan, a dedicated CASEVAC asset, LZ marking equipment, and so on. That might already be possible with mods. I haven't played anything since Flashpoint, but I'll probably get back into it with this one. If incapacitation isn't reversible, then there's no incentive to evacuate the casualty. You might as well just write him off as dead. It should require a higher tier of care than a corpsman/medic, though.

I guess maybe Iran could court them into joining their coalition, but that seems unlikely. Iran could always be an economic mooch and use the combined wealth of a large group of allies. The money would have to come in through some backchannel means due to the sanctions on Iran. Either that or there would have to be some significant change in the political situation. Of course, that's also a requirement for the war as well.

The invasion of Europe could start with a series of terrorist and missile attacks, some of them utilizing nuclear weapons. Perhaps several NATO members have already been overrun or effectively neutralized with atomic arms? There could be some free Georgians/Ukrainians/Turks/etc fighting on a la Charles de Gaulle. That'd make for a really interesting side-plot or two. I don't think Georgia is a NATO member yet and I'm not 100% sure Ukraine is, but I know they were both working on it a few years back, and they probably would be by 2020 or whatever.

That sounds pretty good, but how would it handle cumulative damage? If you're "wounded" in more than one body part, you'd most certainly be in "agony". A burst of machine gun fire to the chest would incapacitate if not kill someone, but a probability-based system could, on occasion, result in each impact coming up "wounded". I'm a little more inclined toward your first idea right now. The incapacitation idea would be very good. It would force leadership to deal with the logistics of evacuating casualties as well as the self/buddy/corpsman aid that the immediately effected troops would be dealing with. I think it would be more playable if incapacitated units could be restored to health at some kind of field hospital/trauma facility after a given amount of time. Even if this isn't included out of the box, it could be done with community mods.
