Funny how you're arguing about the German military having no discipline or what ever (which is just stupid, even if you said you doubt that). The biggest difference is, if our guys are going ot of the base, we don't need 25 new coffins for civilians around the AO. Think about that. And no, I'm not finding another game to play. If you don't like the ranks, heck find a...ah, what ever. This argument can be stretched up over years. The only reason for so complex ranks are, as you said, better/complex AI Management. The current ranks are way enough for the current AI, so if you want to have more for better management: do it yourself. Regards, The anti-american (who's donated to various charity regarding wounded us vets and had an american girlfriend with a serving/served father. DUH.)

Ranks are different throughout a lot of militaries in the world and the world does not just revolve around the USA. Also, if you have enough time to bother about ranks, you obviously don't face enough enemies :P I mean, how often do you encounter the ranks ingame?

Criticism about the game's weapons is critizing a core factor which should be at least quite implemented in an alpha. The arch has to be built, before we can invite people on it. Or something like that. -

+1. Can't wait for CSE or ACE3, let's see which is better/more complex. For the suppression part: I've never been under fire, but obviously if it'd be like in-game, it can't be so bad (coming from a mil. family, I know it is!). So, why don't you just sit down and create some concepts instead of bashing each others. I think the guys who had been under fire, either if it's been in Kosovo, Jugoslavia, Afghanistan, Israel or what ever, know what it's like and could provide a detailed way of how to display it, as long as we can't have simulated feeling integrated into our brain from inside the game. Keyboard-Warriors.

Personally I think we should let people who had actually been under fire in real life handle this discussion. We can talk as much as we want and there won't be any progress nor a final realistic solution. I personally know a few inside the forums here, maybe they're going to talk? ;)

I'm guess they're getting delayed while making female models for raging 'girlgamers', lol. I'm using the latest driver, I think 314.22. Be sure to run the .exe as admin, though. -

Looks awesome! Can't wait. I can't see what's wrong with "bf3-ish" looking soldiers. I think they made an amazing job with designing them, even though they might be not fitting so much into reality.

It's because it's not a public release. Thanks for your work, but I think you understand it's better to explain how to do it, than making people download a .rar from an unknown website. Especially if we look at your post count.

Camper? What is this? BF3? If you run around in the open you should be prepared to get shot by a marksman or something else. It's not really better now with Grass disappearing after 200m. I'd prefer a white camo to blend in with the environment. -

Oh, another request: Arabic/Persian Voice. I don't care if it's Arabian, Pashtun, Persian or what ever. Everything is better for OPFOR than british accent-english :D There is already: M16 and M4 -

Yeah, I always missed the winter in ArmA. Like, heavy snow falling and deep snow on the ground... Dynamic seasons would be awesome. There are winter maps, so the only thing that we need is really heavy snow falling :D -

Hey, I tried this, but Chernarus and Co. are not shown inside the editor menu. My .bat with the code: I run it as admin, it says that they create a fix shortcut to the .pbo's... still I can't see anything in my game. Tried it with arma3 -nosplash -mod="%@a2targetpath%;%@a2oatargetpath%" instead without the @s. Not working. I tried to have my @A2Backport, @A2OABackport either in my A2 folder or my A3 folder. I can't see why it's not working.
