    Invasion 1944 V3.0

Given the era, if they do paratroopers, it's probably 82nd AB, or Fallschirmjager. Yeah, I was hoping that since they teamed with Hell in the Pacific, I hope we at least get mini-subs, let alone U-boats, Gato class, even cargo ships or destroyers. Probably not the Bismarck though. :P

    Invasion 1944 v2.6 (CO)

When using the tank +Additional effects module, when I hit a tank with either bazooka or cannon, I can't help but note the spam of scripts in chat. Are these supposed to be there so you can adjust or something, or a slight mistake? Everything else seems good though.

    Kiory's random hat madness!

Hilarious, looks great too. What about a court jester's hat, though? Regiment comedian!

Arma 3: Confirmed features | info & discussion

They're already working on it. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?150082-Invasion-1944-V3-0 Also, just found that there should be incindiery rounds for artillery. Maybe the effects could be used for napalm, or at least incindiery grenades at least? Shown in manual: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=138946062

and 9x21mm, and 40 Smith and wesson. No .50 AE, but who knows.
  6. Looks amazing, downloading now. Fitting, since there's already an Israeli gun ingame, as well as the Merkava coming along soon. Question though. Why do all the units seem to have suppressors, and under NATO instead of their own faction?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiappa_Rhino This Rhino does happen to fire 9x21mm, so it's probably a pistol in ArmA 3 since both Rook and P-07 fire 9x21. Might have to find a different pistol.

I'm guessing Titan is the name of the fictional launcher I saw earlier that resembled either Javelin or Metis. Awesome find.
  9. While I despise the gunplay of Heroes and Generals, I love the grenade system. You can cook the grenade and in doing so, it gives you a line of sight as to where/how the grenade will fly. VBS2 also has this. In a world, where terrifyingly realistic and in some opinions (such as relatives who have used the software) boring military simulators have more accessible features than their "gamier" counterparts. I do miss powering from A2, but at least I can lean and throw a grenade that way. Also, the angle changing of the GL sights I find a great improvement. But otherwise, you have some mighty points.

Will Celery be used to his full potential?

Road rage will always be wonderful. Go Celery, extend your mission making wings and fly to glory!

How do you use the Supply Drop Support module?

Perhaps you need a heavier aircraft such as the CH-49 or the 2035 version of a C-130 or the likes to get a drop, neither of which are in Community Alpha. I don't know if a Littlebird can take that much weight in supplies. Maybe try a Ka-60?
  12. Surely if they can set what direction you want him in, you can see playable units and such with groups. +1, I voted.
  13. Besides the GL sights, at least with the C7A2 GL, when you use the rifle itself with an ELCAN sight, it's not visible. Judging by how when I switch to ironsights on the top of the elcan and it shows the insides of the weapon, somehow I think this is because the ELCAN is misplaced inside the firearm. Also, though this seems to be a bug among many mods, dropping your fatigues still leaves them on the body, but with nothing in the gear slot. Besides the bugs, is the C6 supposed to also take up the launcher slot, and be unable to fit optics? Seemed strange, as I thought the original ELCAN was designed for the FN MAG. I'm guessing the thing making launchers impossible is a throwback to ArmA 2? Otherwise, looking good. Can't wait to see vehicles coming.

    Russians

Are you also going to reskin the Ifrit, since it's apparently just a Zil Punisher which is Russian made anyway? Loving the update though.

    Invasion 1944 V3.0

Mhm, and Italians, Japanese/Marines (apparently Macolik says they're hooking up. Only good things could happen now), and British 6th AB, Royal Marines, and regular infantry. A few more questions. Will the I44 team try to create maps as big/bigger than Altis? If you guys are hooking up with The Hell in the Pacific team, or plan to, will we see ANZAC and Gurkhas? Or at least ANZAC in North Africa/Greece? Will there be any ships larger than a DUKW, LCM, or even a patrol boat? Especially since there are carriers and attack transports in Hell in the Pacific, I'm wondering. So many questions to ask, can't wait. Good luck with the development, can't wait to see what I44 team will do with Hell in the Pacific and A3's new features.

At about 5:24, what is that launcher? It is not an NLAW nor the RPG-32 Alamut, and it's not a Javelin either judging by the hexagonal shape.

    Invasion 1944 V3.0

I just thought that flashlights would be useful for night patrols. Maybe as an item in pistol slot? In the BAR's case, would the flip up sights also work as attachable optics? Also, would the rifle-mounted grenade launchers be mounted similarly to suppressors since it goes on the muzzle, or still built in since it's a grenade launcher? Indeed, Mediterranean will be very cool. Maybe we could see Malta as an island in I44?

    Invasion 1944 V3.0

1941 Fallschirmjager! That'll be fun, no doubt. Of course, surely we gotta have some Greek resistance again on Crete. Farmer's shotgun, fending off Italian soldiers... I have no doubts this can only end well. So, is it Invasion 1941-44 now? How will the attachments system go with I44 though? I can't see WWII weapons using much more than a scope, a bayonet, and a very poorly taped on flashlight. I think WWII era suppressors were all built in, but I'm no expert. Lastly, I hope I44 will take use of the new diving and it'd be very interesting to see Underwater Demolition Combat Units and other such divers for sabotage. Mini-subs will be fun, if implemented.

    Russians

Looks it. Already got a black Ka-60 model, put a Russian flag on the tail and a red star on the body, maybe extra number or something and it'll look like up there. But then he needs to make RU pilot model for choppers.
  20. They already have the L-159, but if we're throwing ideas together... An Iranian make of the SEQUEL to the PAK FA.
  21. Someone should check solar/lunar eclipses and look to see if ArmA 3 let's you see the Sun's corona! :P But seriously, not bad. Also, I'm going to have to start using star maps now, curse you!

    ArmA 3 Alpha Units Extended

The Katiba is basically an Iranian Tavor/KH-2002 full auto, and the Iranian Marksman has a M14 for some reason.

    Take Downs.

I'd like melee at least, hand to hand combat and blocking enemy punches/dodging bayonets at best.
  24. kilroy the nerd

    Underslung attachments

I could definitely support this. I think I saw a WIP M4 mod somewhere that had various underbarrel attachments.

    SDV and diving

SDV = not available yet. There are divers for both Iranians and NATO however, under the simple name "Men (Divers)" under BLUFOR/OPFOR>Blue/red
