    +5400000 please remove AI in MP, make a playable map (no a huge island) without lag, AAS standard mode for MP and the custom map/island not playable only on separate mod

    there are many players (IMHO thousands) from Americas Army 2/3 and GRAW 2, like me, that want to play at ARMA like these games, with all stuff on ARMA (the choppers and fixed wing are the best) honestly ARMA don't have a interface but a mess between RPG and RTS, and the player have less action and obviously less fun. COD is not the only military game and a lot of clans are modifying it in more tactical way now ARMA 2 has more weapons, tanks, air veichles than all military games combined, but don't have great success like the thread's starter as wrote a more friendly interface helps the newbie to play this game the sci fi scenario with digital HUD ,maybe will solve a lot of aspects

    the main misunderstanding of this game is that ,it is half FPS , half RTS and bit a RPG, and no one of these works well on a clear way on how this game goes on, is in the hands of developers, in this case the interface will be more friendly automatically

    this is, and the new PVP multiplayer modes, my choose , if I will buy this game or not. i don't want to spend 1500 euros for the new hardware for RTS/RPG game

    maybe the "future" scenario helps the devs to do less animations. the modular weapons can be adapting to various use , and custom's load menù is perfect for this in the E3 video i saw this change... and the devs, more or less, have tempted on this way on OA with the "SCAR"

    good interface and understandable MP(i hope the AAS will be a standard) modes, stop please with strange commands and please a video for new animations
  10. +1 the weapons in GRAW 2 are very well made not only the sound but also the animation, ballistic all in first and third person

    In this game there are long distances. the risk, IMHO with a lot of snipers, is that will become "Sniper Elite 3" not Arma 3

    the customizable load out needs, i think, that this game will have to have a "class system" for the characters in this case, would be avoided situations like sniper rifle+javelin (i'm in favour for the limit of the sniper in MP game)

  15. this game requires only three implementations for to become a Wonderful FPS 1 AAS advance and secure mode (or conquest mode) 2 weapons reloading's animations 3 more user friendly MP interface (a lot of keyboard commands IMHO)
  16. sorry if the question is already written in this thread, i didn't read the entire trhead, for the reloading animations, are possible only through MOCAP? if yes, the pipeline is "MOCAP -> MAYA + TEACUP PLUG IN -> game" how do you assign the reload animations for each weapons?

    @djfluffwug i'm afraid that the MP side will be virtually unplayable, or, if you are a rich guy, you may rent a Google mainframe
  18. +50 tactical but don't worry main focus AI + Lemnos 400 km2 + dx10 and 11 + physx = NO MP competitive the max that you will do is a holiday in Greece with some bots
  19. no "bf", in a long run, is repetitive in Arma i have the freedom to make the scenario that i want, with relistic crew (i have good time, only if i work in team) I' don't want to push arma 3 in "arcade" direction but, if the game from day 1 isn't played on MP on Vanilla version, is very hard to renew interest for the players in a second period
  20. i like Arma for the veichles, i'm fan for put the all types of realistic veichles on MP in right scenario. If you merge this, with a good characters with good animation you have a perfect game (IMHO)
  21. simply "NO AI", remove all the useless command for AI, good characters, good animations and the normal modes conquest, assault and ctf into the ARMA Realism and last but not least, netcode and a deep attention to the LAG, i prefer minor details that huge island, with lag
  22. because, seems that to developers don't care multiplayer, for now the only hope is Project Reality but to transform this RTS/FPS hybrid in a shooter is a pain in the a... and the the problem of animations is still there
  23. the PvP whiners are the longevity for all games, the, poor, sales figures of OF Red River (only in coop) should be a early warning for BIS
  24. IMHO at E3 I would show the new animations, not the crappy old, if the developers of this game don't want to make a "FPS military shooter game " for competitive multiplayer, but a weird hybrid unplayable on MP, at least they say. isn't it?
