I agree with you... But I think the big problem is the modeling of sight to dive, night vision or in some vehicles too. Actually it's just in 2D and it's really ugly and a shame. I imagine 3D goggles with drops of water which flowing on the glasses when we go out of the sea etc... Look the rain effect in this game...

I saw a short video on facebook and especially the divers... I tried to represent my vision of the immersed interface.
