  2. Hey guys! I just played a coop mission with some friends and we suddenly killed few takistani guerillas while fighting agains the takistan army with them. we got attacked by the takistani guerillas afterwards and they seem to switched to EAST side then - cause they didnt attack the army and the army didnt attacked them. How can I disable that killing allys will change their side?
  3. Well huh if its just a state - It has to be in any faction right? Or wrong? Can the Modmaker just implement it into and empty state and nothing more or less? The Mod maker is poorly inactive :/
  4. Hey guys! I just downloaded the NH90 Addon Helicopter. I can add it via Editor, Faction Empty / Air. But I want to add it within MCC - via 3D Editor which hasnt any Empty Faction in it. Also I want the EVAC Feature used with the NH90 in MCC. What do I need to change to place the UH90 within another category of units? I want to place it within "Germany" or my custom Unit Place "Bundeswehr" which has been created by BWMod. heres the config - cant find the position which cares about the unit category!
  5. Well I added this: As i other Addons from BWMod this faction and vehicleclass actually exists - so I chose it. But well - still won't work :/ I'm thinking to easy here right?
  6. Hey there shay! Is there a way to implementent Empty and Other in 3D Editor? Because I have a UH90 Helicopter Addon but cant place it or use it with EVAC cause I can't choose it - it just appears in Empty withing native arma2 Editor
  7. Is there a way to let vehicles created in DAC have unlimited FUEL? Because I have some long campaigns on the run which are filled with DAC zones - and I dont want to let travelling cars stop cause they dont have any fuel left?

  9. Is it bad to dont add this parameter? Because I'm using MCC - I just will dropt that helicopter empty or with that default mcc crew which is civil to dont get any conflicts with sides I think...
  10. @ Celery thanks! @ metalcraze useless information u giving me there - why just dont answer my question and stop trolling my thread? You ever thought about that I maybe have a reason to turn it off other then just have an easier gameplay?

  14. But will that marker work like in DAC ? The Markers radius keeps waypoints within to share them to the released groups?

Will ur script create 70 Waypoints - used by the Groups at this location? if yes - how is the radius placed for those waypoints? any parameters given there? Sorry I sometimes need some time to understand arrays with things in it I see the first time
  16. well i'm using this on a deticated anyways so it shouldnt be a prob here. But that won't answer my whole question anyway.... DAC_Zones is set as a variable here - but how can I get infos / data about the Zone IDs and their belonging Zones (Zone Names)
  17. Hey guys! I'm kinda new to scripting but well, did it back the days in OFP pretty often. Long time tho... --- Back to the Topic... I want you to ask how can I use variables or data from an existing config? Example: Theres a DAC Config File which stores all creates DAC Zones. There I can find the "Zone_Name" and within the name the "Zone_ID". The Zone ID contains alle Zone Names which have the same ID. (It's used to link zones with each other withing DAC) Now I want to get all Zone Names which use the specific Zone ID Noob Example: "Zone_ID_1" -> contains "Zone_NameA" & "Zone_NameB" in MY Config I want to add these names just by telling the Zone ID like: Hey I want to use the Waypoints of ["Zone_ID_1"] so my script will work. = should take the data from that DAC Config file and paste it in my config Hey I want to use the Waypoints of ["Zone_NameA", "Zone_NameB"] I imagined that it will mybe look like that (totally scifi script here) { get [open "DAC_Zones.sqf"] lookfor [Zone_ID_1] then get "Zone_Names" within "actual_function" and paste them into my config for variable "Zone_ID_1" :D I wish it would be that easy... hope you can follow me until here... PS: Please don't bugger me about "hey dude first learn scripting at all" I don't wanna know everything about scripting - just the things I need to know for my actual idea. greets falke
  18. Hey guys! I just wanted to setup my server with this awesome shooting range mission. But I want it to run forever - so the server opens the map and keeps it open for everybody who wants to join in. My problem here is that the server just stays on "Creating" all the time which won't show the map for searching players :/ heres my cfg - can anybody add what is needed to make this possible? greets
  19. This script worked so far - but how can I let the released groups still run the waypoints given by a Zone they spawned in? [group, [z1],1,8] spawn DAC_fReleaseGroup thats what DAC Readme tells - and the Releaserscript kinda wants me to add waypoints on map by editor - but that wouldn't be dynamic enough for me? Any Idea so far? What did I missed EDIT: Maybe editing that part to [group, [z1],1,8] spawn DAC_fReleaseGroup but whats the Zone variable called within the script - I'm not that good in reading it :/ Well I tried the solution above - but this poorly isnt the best :/ - no more moving between DAC linked Zones and Waypoint Zones, and also it is pretty stupid to use for every zone because here every group would travel to zone 1's waypoint pool. Is there maybe a way to let the Group use a pool of waypoints aquired by the ID of Zones not by Zone Names themselves? So you have like 2 Master Zones and 1 Waypoint zone and let the group which is created by a Master Zone leave that zone but use the waypoint pool of the Zone ID of the "Mother" Zone
  20. Is anybody out there who can tell me how I really can release AI Groups created by DAC Zones - and hand them over to another AI System? I just can't figure out what is ment within the readme file (which in fact is great) brought with DAC.
  21. @ Kremator - thx - Hm is there any way to let ACE Wound System and DAPMAN work simultanously? Like let DAPMAN only be affected at AI enemys - and let player units still be able to use the hole of ACE Wound System. Because I love the fact that DAPMAN will slightly add a feature here for me which grants more tactical use of pressure against enemy (AI) Units. If my squad smashes the enemy with firepower there should be always the sense of hit and kill - more the way of hit and disable the enemy. DAPMAN would really add this feature for me - because an hit enemy causes way more problems for the enemy squad then a dead (like in real life a screaming buddy would demoralise the squad and force them to care about him). I would muchos appreciatos that if theres a way to use it that way :]

  23. Hey guys! I just downloaded The Shooting Range http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=14616 and wanted to start a deticated server with the mission. Well worked ok so far. But... 1. Issue: The Server tells me when I join as official (Only the Server can play as official). Means - that only the "Server" can start trainings - setup Tests (Tournaments) etc. Problem solves so far: changed If (!IsServer) Then... to If (!IsAdmin) Then... 2. Issue Now I can join on the deticated as official and well still can't do anything. Can't pickup weapons - may start training all over again which is senseless. So it won't work right... Any Idea how to get this worked properly for deticated?
