Dual Tri Monitors
tommytoad2 replied to sarcasticpcgamer's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS - PRE ORDER BETA
First of all he needs to setup a proper eyefinity or softh group. Or use Nvidia surround. What graphic card do you have OP? -
Dual Tri Monitors
tommytoad2 replied to sarcasticpcgamer's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS - PRE ORDER BETA
I run the game in eyefinity (3x1 monitors) and i don't have to do any windowed mode or something like that. It looks horrible in the video :( And why do you call it Dual Tri monitors? -
Steam version, where can I find my key? I did not recieve it.
tommytoad2 replied to Stianfred's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS - PRE ORDER BETA
Right-click Take On Helicopters in the steam library and choose "View game CD key". -
They are plenty useful, it's the same script-language and the same way of doing it. It's just the GUI that's changed.

I think they'll hope for the community to provide these kinda things.

Check the "name.TakeOnHProfile.cfg" file and look for the line "tripleHead=0;" Change it to 1. -

I had the same issue. Check your .cfg-file again, there's multiple lines in there you need to change. Here's mine: -
Nice find

stuttering while showing "instrument-icons"

Have you tried new drivers? -
This sounds like your graphics drivers crashing, at least AMD/ATI does this to me i Arma when i have unstable overclock or too much undervolt on the GPU.

I guess the game wants a nice CPU then, i'm playing with a 5870 and can't get it to look that good, eyefinity requires so much power :( -

Is that with a HD4870? -
Yeah, DRM/Copy protection in your products has never been any problem. The only problem i've ever had was with OFP when Codemasters was involved.

This shouldn't be very hard to do with an addon later on if BIS decides against it.

Can I use steering wheel pedals to control yaw?
tommytoad2 replied to .Taffy's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS - GENERAL
The only downside to it is that you have to keep your wheel plugged in on the floor. But since i play alot of F1 2010/2011 aswell it's just a bonus that it works for both those games and this. -
I can almost bet that would be the community, hence the name "Community issue tracker".
-
Same for me. Happend in Arma 2 aswell, but more often in this. And i hope someone makes a mod/new chopper without the "stained" cockpit-glass. And what's the deal with the scratches in the glass? Love the MD500, where i can look out on the sides and see the world... clearly

Yeah, all pedals should be like that. Otherwise it's kinda pointless having them. No worries. -

I'm also using pedals to control the yaw, mine is from a "Thrustmaster Force Feedback Wheel". -

mouse problems & joystick X65F
tommytoad2 replied to steffj's topic in TAKE ON HELICOPTERS - PRE ORDER BETA
First you have to look under the key bindings and remove the mouse under cyclic and bind the joystick there instead. For Track IR, look under "Controllers" and enable Track IR. If this won't work you can manually enable it in your profile config file located under "C:\Users\Username\Documents\Take On Helicopters" and it's called "YourUserName.TakeOnHProfile". The line you have to change is "trackIR=0;", change it to "trackIR=1;". -
Managed to start a dedicated server with the -server switch but can't access any usermade missions. Tried making a MPMissions folder in the main folder aswell and put it there to no avail. Have any one managed to load usermade mission with the dedicated server? Is this a bug in the beta?

Well, looking at the game "Rage" on steam says it's 25gb so that argument is not really vailid. Perhaps i'm spoiled with my 100mbit connection but still, you only download the game one time and with a new 2 TB disk costing something like 80 USD space isen't really an issue any more.
