Great News! I can't wait :bounce3:

It works like a charm if you use Firefox internet browser with these addons: AdBlock Plus No Script For advanced users. Tutorial video:

That would be a dream come true... :butbut:

Demo: Dynamically change unit class
Icarus replied to *zeewolf*'s topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
True. You don't want the end user to see technical details that kill immersion... :butbut: However making the script work take as little time as possible (without sacrificing performance) is really desirable :) Icarus -
Great Work on those riffles!

Demo: Dynamically change unit class
Icarus replied to *zeewolf*'s topic in OFP : MISSION EDITING & SCRIPTING
Amazing creation *Zeewolf*!!! :ok: Correct me if I am wrong, but does this script make creating weapon dependent animations possible? :butbut: Icarus -
*Zeewolf* is that possible???? To make units respawn as a different classes? If so this is amazing! This would open a new animating window for OFP/Arma:CWA, since different units can use different animations sets for same actions... Can you share some more information about this script, what are its limitations? :butbut: Icarus

OFP DR... wrong forum FPDR Moderators please close this thread.

Will the units not using those scripts be as good in combat as the ones running your scripts?
-
Great looking units! STGN M4 Rifles would really fit them :p

Sorry if I gave you wrong idea. I would never want Dan Soldiers to use ww4mod animations. What I had in mind is that I would like to be able (if possible) to use Dan's Guerrillas in ww4mod without having to fear for CTD, witch happen very rarely to be honest.
-
Not much to report. I would only have one request... I would love to see you r units be fully compatible with ww4mod25 animations, of course if it is possible Take care, Icarus
-
Hello NickLomas, You might want to try ww4mod2.5, this mod has great animations: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?124403-WW4-Modpack-2-5 Take care, Icarus

Rest in Peace Neil Armstrong :beam: Lets not forget the rest of Apollo 11 crew: Buzz Aldrin and Micheal Collins :notworthy:

You can only use one config... FPDR
-
If I understand correctly you are trying to run mod configuration with 3 mod folders, each of those has its own config... Basically you are trying to run mod configuration with 3 configs, aren't you? Have you tried runing game with this shortcut configuration? "C:\Games\Arma Cold War Assault\ColdWarAssault.exe" -nosplash -nomap -mod=@ECP+@SLX Take care, Icarus

@*Zeewolf*: I must agree with =Sapper=, if you are not going to host a Dedicated server or have somebody else do that, then having a separate Singleplayer mode would be necessary to experience the gameplay of your mod. Please bear in mind that OFP/Arma:CWA multiplayer community is quite small nowadays... Well that is only my opinion :j: Take care, Icarus

What about permissions? ReadMe file contains no information about getting permission to edit. And given email is 9 years old...

Great looking buildings there Sennacherib! I am sorry to ask this question, but I hope those buildings are not too high poly? It would be really great to have good looking ww2 town that is not causing lag on a weak PC. Take care, Icarus
