I have an addon maker making us units, but there is no good documentation for addon makers for ACE compatibility. Were on the ACE site and he needs to make them ACE IFAK compatible but the documentation explains nothing about it. Any help?

I gave your ammo script generator a try and it worked halfway. Now the boxes are persistant all the way through. But once the player leaves and comes back, the values go back to default and then I have the same issue. How can I fix this? -

I am playing with a Persistant Database Enabled mission. I love your loadout editor but it messes up the persistance of weapon boxes and vehicles once people reconnect. Essentially, what I think happens with your respawn code is that it initializes the loadout globally on connection/respawn instead of JUST the loadouts for the players. So for example, if I am playing with PDB enabled and I take an AK and put it in the box, for everyone already in who hasnt died, they will see the AK. But if anybody dies or joins the mission late, they will not see the AK47 in the box, they will see the default loadouts applied. ALTHOUGH the persistance is being tracked by the DB. So for example, if my team takes 2 MX-2As out of the box (which we only have 2) and goes on mission, and a new player joins in and looks into the box, once the loadout is applied they WILL see 2 MX-2As in the weapon box, but will not be able to withraw them because PDB has recorded the number to be 0 but the loadout script makes it appear as 2. Get what im talking about? Any way you can tweak the script to be Persistant Mission compatible? This would be amazing if you could. -
I have to say the sounds of the RG-31 are great, but the sound of the turret is not good at all. The sound of the turret is that of the turret turning on the handcrank. Not mechanical like the sound of a tank turret turning. Would be great if you could get the correct turret turning sound in! Also every so often, one of my guys in the RG gets shot out by SAF. Im not talking like DShKMs im talking like PKMs and AKs. Is this a known bug?

Literally just woke up since I was busy no lifing it on MSO till 0600 today. Wake up and the first thing I do is check to see if its released to find you released it minutes earlier. THIS IS A GOOD SIGN

Right, so instead of everybody being able to use the addon. Let's just make it so only you can since you don't use ACE :P. Sounds pretty selfish to me! You'd ask the same question if you were in an ACE community. Like I said before, most of it is simple config editting. It's not like the ACE team made it an adventure making addons compatible. -

John, for the most part its simple config editting. Its not that much that needs to placed in. http://wiki.ace-mod.net/ACE_Features_for_3rd_Party_Addons I implore you to please take the time to make this ACE compatible in the final product. You'd alienate a large amount of player base because we cant use your addon to its full potential. :) -

Hi guys, I'm making an MSO and I seem to be the only person who has wanted to tackle this idea on the interwebs that I could find :P. I have 4 different groups. 2 infantry groups and 2 pilot groups. The Infantry both spawn on land and at separate locations and each pilot group spawns at a vessel off shore. One spawns on an LHD and another spawns on the carrier. Unfortunately my code for the respawn wont work D: I have 4 separate respawn markers and I utilize a respawn array that I edited from another mission. http://pastebin.com/3U17UiAg this is my init Can anybody help me with this? My scripting knowledge is very limited D: -

I appreciate it. ---------- Post added at 06:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:01 PM ---------- Okay got another issue, for some reason, some of the players spawn, but instead of spawning ON the actual marker they spawn a like 30 meters to the SE of it off of the carrier. Is this a code issue? -

Yes I am testing on a dedicated server. Everyone spawns in the *correct* spot, its just that the off coast pilots do not spawn above the carrier -

Alot of users who would love to use your mod (me included) won't be able to use it. I beg of you to at least tinker with making an ACE Compat mod. Those of us who are in communities of more than 50 people cannot afford to have ACE incompat mods on ACE server. But afterall, it is your mod. -

Just get JSRS soundmod. It sounds exactly like it does in real life. Are you an Aviation Mechanic? I would imagine only someone who spends an intimate amount of time near them would nitpick the wheel like that :P not that it's a bad thing
