aye, but it is. I tried it on the mission setting to see if it was a problem with the script, and it works fine, but when I have intro selected on the right, I get the problem above

I'm trying to create an intro for my mission, I've gone through all the tutorials, but I can't find anything relating to the problem i'm having. I selected the intro on the right, I set up the scene i want with the units, I created my guy with the [ this exec "camera.sqs" ] in the init box. but when I click preview, it skips directly to the mission and so i can't even begin to position my camera. So, am I missing something here? is a init.sqf file nessasary while editing a mission for this to work? I'm lost and can't seem to find anything on why it's not letting me see the intro and prepare the camera positions in the editor.
