  1. Do you have @cba_co and beta patch for game?

    Check in campaign readme what version of Duala you need, i cant check this but i think that campaign was made on 1.95 and on Armaholic there is v1.97.

    This campaign was made on game v1.62. Do you have steam version of game?

    If yes your arma is v1.63, i read that this patch can break old mission/campaigns.

    I dont know if its true.


  2. Campaign file you must put in:

    ....arma2\campaigns\campaign.pbo

    For the rest of addons you can make folder @CarrierOperationsDuala, create there folder Addons and there you put all *pbo files from addons or mods files.

    Or you can create folder @mod for each addon/mod.

    @duala

    @Nimitz

    @hornet etc etc

    Then you must launch game with all mods folders you created.

    Thanks for this feedback.

    I can only write about my missions so...

    1. Sorry for the grammar and other mistakes in texts, i know English only from movies and games, i never lern English in school. Thats why there are many grammar and spelling mistakes and briefing is simple and short. Some people like this type of briefing, short and simple like in OFP times. ;)

    2. I dont plan to add cinematics, working on cutscene take for me almost the same time as working on simple missions. Thats way i add intros and outros only for campaigns (but in my older mission packs: SP, RACS you will find simple intros before missions).

    3. No Marcy is my favorite mission to :) S&R is little boring on start but i like to play mission like this from time to time ;) During "war" you dont have whole time action, there are also boring parts, patrols etc. I know that in River ride i could add better info about "not using the boat", i hope that sooner or later players will notice that info in briefing. In some missions there are not to many enemy units becose im not a big fan of missions -> "6 man squad fight against company" :) When i make missions only with one squad i dont put to many enemy units and in this mission i wanted to have only few small groups of enemies.

    I have one question, did you play with Unsung 2.6 and with ACE (i want to be sure)?

    I dont plan to release any updates in close future becose there are no gamebreaking bugs in my missions in this pack, maybe Kommiekat will want to change something someday.

    One more time thanks for very good feedback and good suggestions.

    And i dont want to force you to make some missions ;)

    I was only thinking "campaíns finished in 70-80% it would be bad if all the work you put in to them now go to trash".

    Ps. One of my PC's is broken so im cut off from computer from ~5 weeks, its difficult days for me ;)


  5. Its not a problem that you use 1.62, im staying with this patch to. And look on armaholic, bi forum, arma2base or other arma sites you dont see any updates for missions/campaigns or mods for patch 1.63 ;) (yes i know most of players play now A3)

    So if you ever will plan to finish something for A2 its not a problem that you use 1.62.

    99.99% of stuff is and will be made on this patch.

    I know about Sekara's Mission packs, i have all of them. I also know about Misty Ronin and Wiki's work.

    So far i saw only one full campaign released as "campaign".-> Persian Tale.

    If we count some mission packs as campaigns you are right we have more than 1 campaign released. ;)

    Yes i have A3 but i dont play the game. I dont like te "futuristic" seting etc.

    I waiting for more user made campaigns (its 1 year from A3 release and we have 1 full user made campaign ;) ),, good that i found few nice mission packs.

    Im also waiting for some big and new mods (for example RHS), i dont want to download the same looking retexures of few units. Maybe in next year i will play more in A3.

    Ok, now im back to A2 more than 150 campaigns and my favorite CWR 2 on Hdd are waiting. ;)


  8. Really bad news, i was waiting for this campaign from 2012. :(

    It's your decision but i wouldn't never release unfinished campaign. I also dont think i will play this campaign knowing that i will play only small part of it and that i will never know the rest of story in the future.

    You write you dont have motivation to work. So i think you should leave this project, take a breake from editing and maybe come back with something new in future. ;)

    Ps. I stay with arma 1.62 patch (i have non-steam dvd version of arma and i dont plan to move with my game to steam).


  9. "No player selected" will show in SP mission when none of units is set as "player" for example all or few units in squad are set as "playable" but team leader is not set as Player. In coop mission there will be no problem but in SP we will have this error and mission will not start.

    Didnt play the mission yet, im waiting for full ver of campaign so im only guessing what can be wrong.


  10. Wiki if you have problems with overview pictures etc I suggest you to unpbo Bardosy's Persian Tale campaign.

    In his campaign everything is working. In A3 you put overview info etc in description.ext of mission, few new commands.

    Check also bi wiki - description.ext all new info about changes you will find there.

I want to report something in Long Patrol mission, When the MEDEVAC or the APACHE is taken down, a new sidemission is created (check crash site), BUT the problem is, that the sidemission is placed at the extreme corner of the map so I really couldn't go there an check that crash site because it was too far. I think maybe it's a bug?

    Yes its a bug, when the marker for the task on map and in briefing dont have the same name game place the task on map corner (yellow circle when task is active)


  12. In this mod only some units have voices like when they reply to commands/orders given by team leader, so is there any way that one can enable all units to speak or shout in combat.

    And there is also a strange sound a commander of infantry group makes when ordering units to move.

    Just add to inventory itemradio. If you are teamleader add tou your gear radio and this should fix your problem.


  13. Lite dlc idea was great we had all units/vehicles so we could play any Sp/mp mission or campaign that was made for game.

    And now if we get only "new fly model or new balistic for snipers" but we will not have units etc we cant play missions or join servers becose we will not have needed addons.
