@Strelok Yes, i know i can do this but i think even if i screw up mission 3, i loose all my men, don't take any AT weapons. I still should have minimal chances to stop that convoy, some AT weapons in creates. Let's say that someone play Resistance for the first time in live and wenn he see that he dont have AT weapons against Armor he will think WTF?? ;) But i will restart this mission in v1.05 to be sure i have all fixes and changes. -

My campaign is v1.04 i can't download v1.05 in next few days. But i see that in 1.05 there is only fix for German version. But to be sure i will stop playing and i will restart this mission after few days wenn i be in home and i download v1.05 or higher. Ps: i restarted this mission few times sometimes i have 2 guys with rpg75, now i have chance to win ;) ---------- Post added at 05:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:28 PM ---------- One more thing. I play with ambient civilian module enabled and i saw in few places that there are empty cars or cars with drivers spawned on the middle of the road. They dont move, this could make some problems with missions with convoys etc. ---------- Post added at 05:42 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:39 PM ---------- Ps: i see that our squad in this mission is totaly random. Sometimes i hve 4 guys with Mg, sometimes sniper+2Mg+1rpg etc. -

Campaign Resistance. Mission: Ammo low. In briefing i don't have any rpg, mines or satchel charges. Wenn mission starts there are 2 ammo crates but only with ammo and some Ak's. No rpg, mines etc. I have 1 rpg with 2 rockets from 3rd mission. In my squad i have 8 guys with Ak's 1PKM and 1 sniper, sometimes with CZ or Svd. How can i stop that convoy. Tank and Apc will kill my whole team. ---------- Post added at 05:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:05 PM ---------- If i will be lucky i can kill ammo truck driver from sniper rifle and then i must wait for the rest of convoy to move. Im not sure but in OFP even i only Troska escape from mission 3 we have some AT weapons (mines,launchers) on start of Low on Ammo mission. -

Campaign Resistance. Mission Invasion: Task: Go to the office not greened in briefing. After cutscene with Russian forces attacking Nogova we have new waypoint to escape but we dont have any new task (i don't remember if in OFP there was task to escape from city) Mission Crossroad: Task: Find the resistance not greened in briefing after we reach to camp. -

I also like to measure length of campaign in hours, that's way i write that sometimes campaign with 2 missions can be longer then campaign with 6 missions. :) I also think that 2-3 hours lenght=mini campaign. -

@Kommiekat No, it's your choise if you call your campaign-"mini campaign" or "campaign". You can make 2 mission and you can call it normal campaign. :) Sometimes campaign with only 2 missions can by longer than campaign with 6 missions. Which one is mini campaign it this case? ;) -

Mission don't have to be "dynamic" and even then sometimes you dont have to meet some units, vehicles. For example they can be attacked somewhere by some units, or they have patrol waypoints with some radius. Sometimes some units have different chance to spawn etc. But there also full dynamic missions, each time you play mission is different. -

Yes, always patch your game to newest version. First install patch v1.60-this will also update Arma 2 to v1.09. Then install patch v1.62 for OA-this will update also A2 to v1.11. After this both your games will be in newest versions. Allways play your game as Combined Operations, A2+OA, you can use then all mods, campaigns, missions that are made for game. ---------- Post added at 02:24 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:20 PM ---------- If you will launch only A2 and in mission there will be something from OA you will not launch that mission. The same situation wenn you launch only OA and in mission will be something from A2. That's why always run Arma 2 CO. :) -
@up You must run arma 2 CO to have all stuff from both games. If you run only A2 you will not have stuff from OA in game. If you run OA you will not have stuff from A2. You must install Arrowhead to the same folder as Arma 2 and then yo will have arma 2 CO. Now run the game as Combined Operations.

No they can break missions but dont have to, just play the missions with Ai mod that you have, if tasks are finished, mission ends. All should be ok. In most cases missionmakers dont use Ai mods wenn they make missions. Sometimes they use some Ai changing scripts or Upsmon like in Bardosy's Pirog and Chesty Puller campaigns. So dont you worry, start playing with Ai mod if you like, if something will be wrong you will stop play with him. @Gunter Sorry that i write your mod name wrong :) -
Yes, you need to know the classnames for tent and campfire. Then you can make simple script that will spawn them. I suggest also to use addaction command. You can with that add to action menu (mouse wheel) commands like "Make fireplace" and "Deploy tent" etc. Wenn player choose them you run script that will spawn needed objects.

Driver should ride wenn you add waypoints: do you use only moveindriver or also first assignasdriver. And for gunner assignasgunner. About unit1 dont shot maybe do more tests, put him closer and check if he shot then. -

In most cases only Ai mods can "break" missions/campaigns. JSRS will not change nothing. TPWC dont change how whole Ai work, only change it's reaction to suppression fire so this should be ok to. COWAR mod has many AI changes, so this mod can sometimes break missions. ACE also can break SP missions. I also suggest to play with Warfx blastcore. You will have nice explosions and effects. :) ---------- Post added at 05:04 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:58 AM ---------- Ps: if you make your own mission/campaign remember to run clean arma 2. Don't make missions with for example: Jsrs, warfx or cowar launched with game. So only AI changing mods can realy break some missions. Units can go somewhere else from their places. Maybe put in empty car 2 soldiers with names sol1 as driver and sol2 as gunner. First add to driver setcaptive true, after this wenn Opfor unit1 will see car he should shot only to gunner. Later you can change setcaptive to false. Also you can use in script commands: dotarget and dofire for unit1 and sol1 (check here on forum or on bi wiki how they work). -
