sorry for chouvinism, but i cant find it realistic to see a skinny woman shooting a m240 or something... and when you say that it would fit to story line, we would need to have some children with weapons too ... sorry but weapons and war belongs to the man. for sure it would be coold if females could do all the animations that the males can do, but PLS dont add armed women to the campaign or predefined units.

i never understand why a male player wants to use a female characters in games. seeing all those 35kg, child faced, japanese anime girls with 20kg guns and warpaint makes me realy sick... please no female soldiers in arma series!

i guess a dx9 exe is not possible? do other dx10 games allow dx9 too?

from the view of a designer/typograph, the arma III logo definitely isnt pretty well made :p annyways iam sooo happy atm!

whats the problem with physix?! there will be a new physic simulation with ragdoll and vehilce handling for ALL systems, its just improved for nvidia cards!

ok sorry for wrong wording. iam not "sure" but "i think so" ;) edit: @KBourne: i think arma 2 IS finished. reinforcements is my evidence for that theory.

im sure that armaholic and bis homepage will tell you about the anouncement too :) i definitely put all my money on an announcement of arma 3, thats for sure. but iam also sure that it will just be an announcement, screens and a trailer will be shown at E3 and the final game will propably be very far away... i still think that this nvidia driver profile is the best avidence.

i think after ten years with good old RV engine its not to unrealistic to get a new engine or heavily modified RV engine. for example the elder scrolls series is getting a entirely new engine after morrowind and oblivion (after 10 years), the GTR series gets new engine for GTR3 (after 1000++ games released with gtr1 engine). the new engine for the elder scrolls skyrim and GTR3 has pretty much the same problem as it would be for arma 3 -- the modding community. BIS is a very comunity friendly developer, but do you realy think they wouldnt/shouldnt use new engine just because some modders would have to learn again?!

keep the nvidia driver profiles in mind ... arma 3 is not that unrealistic i think :D
