use the gps, click ctrl +m to bring up the gps if you have it equipped. i just ignore coordinate like that anyway and rely only the direction they gave using clock face. It's pretty reliable if you are moving in a straight line, but kinda confusing when you are zig zagging around.

ACR will appear if you run vanilla CO without any mods or set it in the param manually, i use sixupdater to add it so i'm not so sure but i think you need to add mod=ACR in your param if you load other mods with it.

man if i know how to tweak stuffs, i would made the carrier battle similar like freespace mothership battles. Disabling subsystems using manta and if other naval units patrols is available, rushing over there for help while doing anything to increase speed. Nah i dont expect it for the release but i hope later in the future. It's gonna take a hell lot of feedback and time from the community to make it right. It's gonna be really important when MP is involved because carrier vs carrier will be the limelight for MP. Imagine playing arma 2 warfare BE on proving grounds with 2 base and human commanders just across the airfield pitching all their arsenal against each other. It's gonna be fun and intense and i dont mind waiting for that.

lol domination, it's a good mission for beginner since it concentrate on coop between players. As an infantry, seeing an A10 doing a bombing run is an awesome sight. Get arma 3 when you have a better rig and like most of us. We upgrade our rig based on BIS game release XD

yeah, i use the same setup. It also works that way. I also use steam mover to put some steam games on my ssd too to take advantage of the loading speed..

Object like trees and houses are loaded directly from the HDD, that's why most of us decided to use SSD to take advantage of the faster loading speed. So 3 main factors you need to know when tweaking arma 2 is 1. CPU, 2.GPU, 3. HDD. It's easy to monitor cpu and gpu but people usually dont realize that HDD do also impact the game, some as bad as stuttering when using scopes and driving through towns. When you choose higher texture settings your PC are required to load bigger files from the HDD, you will encounter lag/fps drop if the drive speed is not fast enough. Using a SSD will improves it a lot but still not at everything max out. You need a rig from the future for that XD

i have a few other games on sprocket (digital copy) and arma 2 cd, it just require the input of serial for cd while installation while digital copy require serial activation online, that's all.

I used to see this last time "File Copy Error (CRC Does Not match)" it's either problem with the CD or the CD player. It will also fail if you try to copy the whole disc to your hdd too. Try it on another PC and if it also fail you might want to change the disc.

Meh, i think it's similar like arma 2. Just go with the cheaper one.

Steam 1. Digital copy 2. No broken/damage cd issue and etc2 Physical CD 1. No steam needed 2. No fast internet connection required 3. Can still play if steam acting up and demanded internet connection when your internet is down I personally dont like steam but there are games that i dont have any choice but to use it. I still prefer digital copy than cd (you have no idea how much space my old cd is taking up) but i try to use others like sprocket or gamersgate 1st, only use steam as a last resort. It's up to you anyway.

I think it's not that hard to implement long hours MP games, just use similar concept like sword of the stars. That game will took days to finish. Just let different player take over the AI whenever they joined. So 1 faction can be controlled by multiple people in the period of a few days if necessary. No need to tamper with the original pace of the games at all.

you need to add @acr to the mod list with your shortcut or run the game as vanilla without any mods at all.

Previously there are issues regarding sprocket download links, try contacting sprocket via email so they can check the links and give you a new one if necessary.

Run a full scandisk 1st and after that let steam verify and repair it. Then Delete your dayz mods and redownload a new one. Corrupted files are common for older hdd, it will also happens to newer ones if you dont do a proper window shutdown or frequent crash. Worst case, you might need to delete your game and redownload everything again as the last resort.
