    Friend of mine and I rented a server for a month to try it out. Its only 10 slots and comes with configuration files etc. It's from Citadel Servers,It wont show up in the server list it just shows as "server" even though I changed the name in the configuration files. I haven't changed any of the ports or added any mods or changed any command lines it's all vanilla. Do I need to edit the port numbers? Here are what they are currently Query 2323 Rcon 2328 Conn 2322. I assume t6hose are correct since I haven't changed anything but it won't show up on the server list. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

    I am editing a Mike Force mission and would like to add a HALO jump spot from base. I know years ago there were scripts you could use to add to a flagpole or another object but I've been out of the editing stuff for a long time and no longer have any of those. Can anyone direct me to where I can grab a HALO script? Any help would be a pppreciated.

    Is there anywhere I can find out what size for the paa for signs? Example the billboard signs in Arma 3 I tried a 512x512 but it skews the image so I am assuming it's a different size. Would be great if there was a list someplace. Anyone know some of the sign sizes?

    Any good squads around anymore?

     

    I'm an old original Arma player and have been playing for quite a few years.

    Looking to join a group that has regular and casual ops both.

    I have no issues downloading mods or using TFAR or ACE,I'm a bit rusty but looking to get back into the Arma game.

    Prefer being an Engineer or a Grunt/Rifleman

    Well past 18+ and am usually on around evenings and late nights Central Standard time.

    Or if anyone is just looking for someone to game with feel free to hit me up.

    Anyone else still having an issue with A3 Units being down with the error "Data Aquisition Failed" when I go to launch A3...hasn't worked for awhile and was wondering if it was my end or A3 Unit page was down.

    Is there any way to change what the AI in your squad is wearing. I'm playing on Thirsk Winter and the Soldiers I recruit are all wearing camo and I was hoping to change them to winter uniforms. I'm using the Bon Recruit script but dont see an option to change the uniforms just the whole player. Any help would be appreciated.

    If ACE Bandages/etc are in the vehicle inventory, will the Medkit show up? Same goes for the Designator if theres a Vector 21?

    The physical Medkit will show but it wont do anything with ACE Medical on..the FAKS get turned into Bandages with ACE..Not sure about the Vector..I think the physical piece will be their but I think ACE adds its on in too. That I am not sure on.

    If its a vehicle that option should be availible in Eden editor for Ace vehicle I think scroll to the Bottom of the vehicle Init..and if you use ACE I think the Medkits and FAKs are all turned into ACE Bandages too if I remember correctly.

    I use an AMD processor as well..an FX6350 6core is it as good as Intel..no..but it works fine and I can get 40+ Fps most places and its smooth..mine isn't as strong as yours is either..and I run an AMd Vid card RX460 so it isnt as good as yours is. The biggest thing I see is your render distance...I have mine at 2000 and 1500 respectively..I mean seriously unless your flying all the time you cant see that far or shoot that far anyway. Also if your hosting on your PC and having friends join that takes alot of Fps away from your set up. You really can't compare Arma to any other game..it has so much more going on it and the maps themselves are so much bigger its not a fair comparison. Dont expect too much as far as Fps goes..there are alot of tweaks you can do that will incrementally help your performance. You wont get an automatic boost but its a slow process to work through. Run the game on high priority,run Steam on low,dont stream at the same time,and cut back your view distance. check out youtube for a list of videos people have made with tweaks..some work..some don't..just always log what you did so you can change it back if needed.

     

    As far as TaskForceRadio..check their page..there are 32 and 64 bit DLLs I run a 64 bit server and havent had any issues with TFR at all. I'd uninstall TFR..re-install and go step by step off of there webpage for 64bit install. Hope some of this helps.
