    Curious about airplanes and helicopters.

I am more likely curious about airlift in both tactical and strategic deployment, all kinds of war must involved with military logistics, delivering food, ammo, weapons, and even tanks and construction materials. Why there's no game that seriously portraying such importance of military logistics, even in ARMA series by far. Something like French Army need serious help for troops delivery by lending C-17, An-124 and C-140 from many countries, since the French air force don't have any bigger planes. Some mods like IL-76 for ARMA 2 is pretty much portraying the fact there: The faster you can deploy the troops to the battlefield, the more advantage.

    UGV's

Some real-life UGVs like this have 4 legged-wheels to make it stand, instead of the common tracked design: http://oi50.tinypic.com/122ltu0.jpg http://i.imgur.com/kLAKD.jpg

Too much muzzle flash and reload animations?

If necessary, you may add the pseudo dry-fire with cartridge in a chamber without a mag. (Some particular firearm won't work with it) 0+1 | 4 -*If round is in chamber without a magazine (or magazine is empty)

    Sukhoi Su-15TM "Flagon"

Oh dear, I love that "Airline Butcher". Must agree it's underrated since it's only did intercepted few airliners in history. I hope there's a Takistan texture too.

Security in ArmA 3 with a New API

Well, why there's very few game developers decide to encrypt the whole game files and folders to minimize the potential of pirate and hack? I mean, take the example like DNA for Mass Effect PC Version as well as Some Ubisoft games with DRM, but more importantly is the stronger support to let player allow to modify the game, and it's really troublesome for security.

    China's New Stealth Fighter J-31

They do, well, sorta like how they love to "play-balance" with major countries whenever they have something original/superior/advance. AKA, cold war is NOT over.
  7. Too much electronic warfare, too little mechanic warfare. Will 2035 going to be an "Iron Curtain"-style (Thousands of armored vehicles toward the battlefield) warfare if EMP and missiles are into serious problem?
  8. Not until using the alternative case-ejecting method like this:
  9. Pretend that's how they get their military development that far, IF they could turn the entire Israel and Turkey over by her own.
  10. For something we have to predict which most of the people believe so, and really taking effort to develop that way, I don't see any difficulty to believe it'd be real, though. I don't believe the cold war is "ACTUALLY" ended. The world still had several superior orders and strategies that many counties taking their own way to go on. If Soviet-US is a part of the CW, which is Old Cold War, then I say the future involved with technology and global value/issue would give many appropriate reasons to expand and continue to develop advance warfares, thus that's a New Cold War (Or Neo-Cold War, Cold War 2).
  11. And don't forget Beidou, too. --------------- Why nobody ever mention about the human singularity upon the future in this thread? It's been decades later and lots of advanced technologies upon human body and such are already took quite a concept and development into it, and doubtlessly will be happen in the future as well. If you know about Dmitry Itskov's 2045 project, you will get what I mean:

    China's New Stealth Fighter J-31

Several trigger-happy FB pilots may lost their jobs. Besides, maybe it'd be even more scarier when hack-wars comes by even with drones?

    China's New Stealth Fighter J-31

Could've agree more since Arma series never simulate stealth (or too close to avoid radar detection by small maps).

    China's New Stealth Fighter J-31

Funny the SAC had maiden-flight two fighters in a week, one is J-31 as mentioned, while the other is J-15S (two-seated J-15). I wonder if there's a Russian Su-33 which is two-seaters as well?

They could, but only 1/20 of the production performance compare to Saturn and GE. Right now the WS-10 they're producing is far less adequate than the requirement, since they're still had not much funding for expanding the assembly line, technicians as well as not fully stress-tested it. As for the replacement of RD-93, which is WS-13, it's still developing and not even have an actual picture of it, so it's not produced (would be take a long while to finish since they don't want to disappoint JF-17 buyers). There are two reasons as Chinese military industry keep buying russian turbofan engines: the lacks of productivity for mass quantity as mentioned, and for the replacement and maintenance for Chinese jets which is still using AL-31 and D-30.
  18. The conclusion of all the replies: We want to see EVERYTHING in ARMA3.

As long as they also sold/built an aircraft carrier if Iran got these, I don't see how it happens.
  20. I've seen your WIP pictures on Armaholic, those looks good, but I think the Aimpoint M2 has too much tunneling (meaning the innards of the scope is blocking much of a view).
  21. Many players want VME_PLA mod to support ACE2. I'm trying to understand how to write a cpp for this mod, thinking if I can start something like weapons and launchers firstly. But well, I am totally new about modding, even just for a script, so I'm wondering if you may provide a little help for it?
  22. I think the config files of this mod is a complete chaos. I had already complained about it and really urge them for fix them as fast as possible. Besides, many players are also expecting its ACE2 version, but nobody seems making it so I am decide to try it by my own.
  23. Maybe even more furious when both Japan and China are putting the conflicts on the UN conference to extreme.
  24. Of course human have to consume resources for almost everything to live within. Think other side of a coin: does that mean human is incapable to live without civilization and tool? Well, majorly yes, but not all. When we born in urban environment we have to obey and live along with the "nature" of civilization, same as the rule in rural, arid, or other not entirely terraformed environments as well. It's more like China is assumed the resource and product trading is not only for global trading capability and (few) friendship upon other countries who accept the trading, but also the assumed forward of the civilization advancement and expansion to put more people out of a wild and live like modern civilization by consuming better and mass-producible products. That explained how Chinese people view at the money in one point: it's to make sure you could earn money from effort, at the same time we have to spend for the product we made from our own too.
  25. Well, as I live in Hong Kong myself, the standard of "quality of life" is really depends, but to summarize one point for sure is the vast majority of the commercial products and public services to satisfy what people needs are based on the physical credits, which mean you won't live there good without a credit card and dozens of bank notes out there (or even critically say, without a richly profitable job is also stand no right to deserve any social goodness). It's more like a problem of the expanding global population caused an opportunity for production and innovation for many rising countries, however they're suffering the same mistakes: either these workers are blinded under the economical materialism to being overly productive, which is not all the people could afford their products, or they're just serving for what people's temporal needs for fashion more than lives and ethics; both are slow death of the environment and economic. And I really doubtful to think that the advanced and superior quality of life for everyone could bring humanity any better, since they're consuming resources faster, AKA more risky future for the next generation.
