First of all: Thank you for your great work! :) Question: Is there any chance that the Tiger gets some more attention? It looks great but the flight characteristics needs some more "love"... The BIS Apache flight characteristics is e.g. really nice. Could this be adapted without too much work for anybody? -

Does anyone else get a CTD when using a Bradley in combination with the rws soundmod? When I delete the rws_bradley.pbo everything works fine but then - of course - it doesn't sound cool... I don't know which version started to cause this problem because I haven't used the Bradley for a while. As soon as I give a move order and stand next to one I get a CTD. I got the latest rws btw. "its like a virus, jarhead, opticalsnare and me lost all stuff " :butbut: that's bad news... take some holidays from arma and hopefully you'll get back... -

there's one (CSM2 Sound Mod für OA British Armed) out already. Most of the sounds are lacking some punch, but the as50 rocks like hell. Check it out until Konrad comes up with something amazing (as usual). -

In the multiplayer setup you can chose the role you want to play and additionally you can deactivate the AI of your own person. Doesn't this have the desired effect? -

Hey there! it's really a matter of personal taste. All of them are good. The only mistake would be not to use a soundmod ;) I combine: Real Warfare Soundmod (for guns and vehicles) Vop sound for environmental sound HIFI a10/ HIFI gau8 Robert Hammer Helicopter sounds flare sound von CptDavo CSM2 baf sound works well so far, but still I'm constanly changing this and that... Have fun. -
crappy graphics? :eek: This game offers by far the best graphics I've ever seen. You can't compare it with a game which takes place in an AO of ridiculous 50x50 meters. If you got a decent pc you get almost photorealistic graphics. running poor? right it was a disaster, but BI improved the game a lot. so you've to be fair in your judgement. nevertheless we aren't talking about major changes in this thread (like flight characteristics - e.g. a plane sometimes flying straight forward when you're rolling to the left or right...), but just about small changes which shouldn't take long to fix.

I've been following this tread for quite some time and considering all these enthusiastic answers may I suggest to found a "collection of sound samples"? I'd be great if one of the arma fanpages could organise that... :rolleyes: I mean there are probably lots of radio samples already out there which people would like to use. Radio messages like "Tango is down" or "landing zone is hot" etc. do definitely exist. Let's collect them somewhere. That would be great for everybody. It's cool that lots of people offer their help in different languages but pm.ing only helps a few and is cumbersome. Does anyone agree? -
I'm using trackir, so I never really noticed that.... funny. but he's right. should be done in minutes... (like the pilot-should-control-hydras change) nice name btw. unfortunately we don't have an a3 :mad:

any chance of changing the apache config a little bit? hydras=pilot controlled (the rest works nice) ace people have it but what about the rest? right now use of hydras is a bit bulky with 2 human players... thx anyway for all the improvements...

1) It's good to see that this game is getting so much better! I hope for an offical patch soon for all the people who don't use beta patches and are still stuck on e.g. the vram issue, which was - thank bis -solved with the betas long time ago... 2) Shift-F1..Shift-F5 select corresponding color team (red/green/blue/yellow/white)= cool (someone had the idea to use alpha=f1, bravo=f2, charly=f3 instead. that would be even more logical because it goes from the left to the right. That's easier to remember for the noobs, but it's not crucial.) thx bis

Cannot load sound 'rws_abrams\noise-ext.wss' this is constantly in my rpt file... -
seems to be lots of people out there playing tanks so is there nobody who knows this issue? The first is the bigger problem (with soldiers this problem seems to be gone)...

1) if you play as tankcommander (with a couple of other tanks under your command) the formation sometimes is updated to the gunners direction and not to the commanders. AI tries to get into formation constantly afterwards. (happens after some time) 2) if you order your tankgunner to (alt) watch a position you can't undo it with the "cancel target" 2-1 command. easily reproducable. just play a tank commander and order your gunner to watch somewhere. You can't undo it.

@snoops 213 yeah an addon! that's what I thought of but I couldn't find anything... I guess a lot of people would be thankful for this :rolleyes:... Would it work for the apache too? -

Exactely what I think. Is there a way to do that? (Maybe a workaround...) -
after playing around in the editor - without mods - I got a CTD saying out of memory (requested 1KB). footprint 54933753 KB. pages 16384 KB. right before that happend the textures went very bad, but that was just one single CDT in days and I was alt-tabbing a lot during the game. Seems to be very stable so far.
